Sora!" Riku fought off the remaining heartless to reach over to his love, who had fallen on the barrier between worlds.

"What the hell is this?" Pete asked, his huge stomach not quite fitting with his short legs and thus rushing into the situation would have been quite preposterous.

Riku looked over at him with a droll smile. And then a portal appeared, and with his hold on Sora, they both faded into a black portal.

When Sora awoke, he felt himself on a cold metal table. As his lids cracked apart, he saw nothing but white.

It wasn't until the familiar form of Riku eclipsed the lack of color rhe realized it was a light, and he was drugged.

"R…Riku? Where am I?" Still in his same position over Sora's line of sight, he smiled gently.

"Don't worry, Sora. You're safe now. No one is ever going to harm you again."

"W…where's Donald and Goofy?"

Riku frowned, and his demeanor suddenly changed. "Not here. You shouldn't even bother mentioning them."

Sora suddenly heard an odd, snapping sound, like rubber… it was coming to mind… he gently turned his head over.

Riku had quite rubber loves on.

He was on a cold metal table.

He was drugged.

"Riku…what's happening?"

"I'm simply assuring your safety, Sora."

"W…where's the key blade?"

"Over there, next to the door. You weren't' strong enough to carry it, Sora." He wasn't sure what context this was meant to be taken in.

Riku came over to Sora, and bid him lift his head to drink some substance, although truly, it was Riku who lifted Sora's head up as he was not yet recovered enough to do it himself.

"Don't worry, Sora. I can take care of you from now on. We can live together… we'll go to the beach and see Wakka and Selphie and Kairi, and we'll all be together again and you'll never have to go into battle again."

He gently let Sora's head down on the table, and then turned his back to him to go to sink in the strange room. Sora looked for the Key blade and quickly spotted it, and then, taking advantage of his free moment, reached out for the Key blade to come to him, but it was only then he noticed one fatal flaw.

He had no hand.

Riku walked over and gently stroked Sora's face. He kissed his forehead, treating Sora as an endeared one, before unleashing a syringe on the boy's neck. "Don't worry, Sora, I'll fight your monsters for you….and I'll keep you home with me at the same time. You'll see, it'll all work out. You'll never have to fight again.

I'm sorry… what was I thinking? I have no idea, this wrote itself.
