The atmosphere of Tapper's seemed to be dark and musky to the grieving handy man that was downing glass after glass of Root Beer. Many of the other characters visiting the game kept their distance and the ones that didn't were almost instantly snapped at by the usual calm and kind hero. Tapper kept his distance as well, knowing to not mess with someone who lost his game and a close comrade.

Felix sighed as he downed another glass, waiting for another one. He couldn't believe Ralph was gone and how he treated him before. All he did was treat Ralph like a plague that he and the Nicelanders had to avoid. Though he did try and be civil at times and treat the villain better than Gene ever did. The fact that even though the Wrecker was indeed a major part of his, now non-existent, game; he was never invited to the anniversary parties.

Felix stared at the Hero's Duty medal he had found while scavenging any valuables in Fix-it Felix, Jr. before it was unplugged. Ralph was indeed a hero compared to him. There was no competition when you compared fixing windows and saving the entire arcade. He jumped slightly when another mug of Root Beer was placed in front of him. The blue-capped hero looked up from the medal to meet Tapper's sorrowful eyes. He chugged the drink and hopped off the stool, giving the bartender a sad smile. He left, wanting to visit Ralph's memorial in Game Central Station one last time before heading back to his wife's game.

Vanellope sat on her throne, the happy and cheerful theme to her game playing in the background. This, of course, didn't make her feel any better. Sour Bill and the security doughnuts knew better than to bother her so that helped a little. Her eyes were locked on the one item she had miraculously recovered from the makeshift 'beam' explosion. The words 'You're My Hero' stared back at her from the slightly burned cookie medal she had made.

A soft sob escaped her mouth as she realized, once again, that her stinkbrain wouldn't be returning. The vision of him falling to the pile of Mentos to save her game and the arcade replayed in her head over and over. She had been a wreck when she realized he wasn't coming back from the act and was lucky that Calhoun and Felix had kept a cool head for her and helped her cross the Finish Line. She tightly shut her eyes to stop more tears from escaping and ruining her last memory of the villain she had grown to care for.

The President looked up when the sound of Sour Bill telling her that she had to get ready for the Prep-Race reached her ears. She nodded slowly and slipped the medal around her neck and pushed herself off the newly built chair and hesitantly followed the sour candy.

The memorial stood proudly in the middle of the middle of Game Central Station, the statue mimicking Ralph's stance at the beginning of his game's intro. The last of the characters that had come to pay their respects were leaving. The last one to leave though was Clyde, Pac-Man's orange ghost. He gave one last glance at the golden plaque as he left; the words bright in his code.

I am bad,

And that's good.

I will never be good

And that's not bad.

There's no one I'd rather be,

Than me.

I hope you guys enjoyed and found it kinda emotional. This is my first attempt at Angst and my practice work for Wreck-it Ralph since I am currently planning a crossover fic with Danny Phantom. So please tell me what you think.
