He had been waiting for over an hour when Yogi finally came out.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't expect it to take so long..." Yogi's words trailed off with a tired sigh.
"Ch. If I hadn't wanted to wait for you, I wouldn't have," Gareki blushed slightly, "Gift or not."
A bright smile spread across his face as he noticed Gareki's rosy blush. " So you do want the present. Good." As he spoke his grin widened. "Then let's go, you already waited long enough." With that, he grabbed Gareki's wrist and began pulling him to the car.
"Wha-" Gareki's words were cut of as Yogi threw him in the car and drove off.
An hour later, they pulled into the crude driveway of an isolated house.
"Ah, it looks just like they said it would." Gareki watched Yogi stare appreciatively at the home.
"Please...tell me you didn't buy this" Gareki's unusually wide eyes showed his confusion and panic, causing Yogi to chuckle slightly.
"Haha, no, I didn't buy this. I'm just borrowing it from a friend." They were currently sharing a one bedroom apartment, but he felt no need to move yet. "I just wanted to go somewhere where our neighbors couldn't hear us while I give you my present."
Gareki eyed Yogi with suspicion. "Oh...okay..." He was apprehensive about the words that had just left Yogi's mouth, but he followed him into the house anyways.
He looked around as Yogi led him through the living room and kitchen, then upstairs to the master bedroom. "Why are we here?" His confusion was clearly displayed on his face.
"Like I said, your present is going to be a little loud. Now, could you sit in the chair over there?" Gareki's eyes moved to the chair that was centered in the what space wasn't taken up by the king-sized bed.
He threw a disgruntled glare to Yogi, "Are you getting me a puppy or something?." As he settled in the chair, legs splayed, he angrily motioned to Yogi. "Are you going to get the damn thing, or what?"
His flustered attitude made Yogi behave more persuasively. "I'll bring it out in just a moment. But first, could you put this on?" Yogi handed him a black blindfold and he slowly raised his distrustful eyes to Yogi's. "I just don't want you to see it. C'mon, please?"
Gareki reluctantly gave in. "Hurry it up then. I don't want to wait anymore." He watched Yogi slowly circle behind the chair to tie the blindfold.
After that was done, he listened to the sounds of Yogi's footsteps retreating to another room. He was impatient, but now that Yogi was gone, he could relax a little.
He settled down in the chair, hands hanging down at his sides.
"Gareki... I kinda need to tie you to the chair." He was surprised when Yogi's voice came from the direction he'd gone towards.
"NO WAY IN HELL." Yogi had sounded truly apologetic, but that didn't mean Gareki would just let him tie him to a chair. "Why the hell would you need to tie me to the chair!?"
Yogi's voice came closer. "I know you're impatient, and I put a lot of work into this present...and I don't want you to run off while I go and get it. Please, just while I go get it?" Yogi's voice was pleading, but he didn't care.
"I already waited this long, why would I leave now." His rhetorical question resounded with annoyance.
"I'm afraid I can't trust you that much, 'cause you always do stuff just to mess with me. I won't go get it till you let me tie you." Yogi's pouting, stubborn tone made Gareki want to laugh, but he resisted the urge.
"Do I even have a choice?"
There was no hesitation in response to Gareki's bewildered question. "No." He sighed in defeat and Yogi immediately went to tie him.
