Just thought I'd write a short stand alone for Mother's Day. Review if you would like!

"Daddy?" 3 year old Kirsi asked, "Why are we doing this?"
"Duh Kirsi, because it's Mother's Day," 7 year old Avery said to his little sister.
"Avery, be nice to your sister," John told him, they were all heading to the kitchen to make Abby a "special" Mother's Day breakfast.
"Daddy? What's Muver's day?" Kirsi asked as they started getting things out to make breakfast with.
John was sitting 1 year old Hailey in her high chair, "It's a day to show your mother how much she means to you, that's why we are making her a nice breakfast."
"Oh, I dit it. I dit to help too, wight?" She asked, giving John her best puppy dog eyes, she was almost the exact picture of Abby, only with John's eyes.
"Of course Princess, do you want to help with the eggs?" John asked then wondered why he had offered that when Kirsi ran over the counter, got the eggs, and spilled them all over the floor.
"Kirsi! Dad! Kirsi made a mess all over the floor!" Avery shouted.
"Shh, Avery, you'll wake your mom," John said, "It's ok, I'll clean it up, why don't you help Kirsi make some toast?"
"Ok, if I have to," Avery said, "Come on Kirs, but don't make a mess this time!"
"I won't! I promise!" She said, but right after the words came out of her mouth she knocked over the pancake mix that was sitting on the counter next to her, "Oops, sorwy"
"What have I gotten myself into?" John thought to himself, "I'll get it Kirs," There was now a paste forming on the floor from the eggs and the pancake mix.
"Ok Dad, we got the toast in the toaster, what should we do now?" Avery asked, looking around at the mess the kitchen had become in such a short time.
"Why don't you get the juice out of the fridge and pour a glass?" John said, looking up from his spot on the floor, he was already covered in the paste.
"Can I do it Avewy?" Kirsi asked, trying to get the juice out of his hands.
"Kirsi, you'd better let Avery do it," John said, but Kirsi kept trying, she was so stubborn and never stopped until she got her way.
"Kirsi be careful!" Avery said as the juice splashed all over Kirsi, Avery, John and somehow managed to hit Hailey too.
"Dada! Towel!" Hailey cried from her chair.
"Hold on Hailey, I'm coming," John got Hailey out of her chair and surveyed the mess around them, there was egg, pancake mix, and juice all over the floor, as well as all over John. The kids were covered in juice, standing in the paste that had formed on the floor, Kirsi was crying because she wanted to pour the juice, and Hailey was crying because she was covered in juice. It was at that exact time that Abby walked in.
"What is going on in here?" She asked looking around at the mess.
"Uh, Happy Mother's Day?" Avery said, while looking to John to explain the mess.
"We were trying to make you breakfast, but it didn't work out to well." John said, Abby looked around in shock.
"I'm sorwy I spillwed the juice… and the eggs… and the pancake mix. Kirsi said, still crying a little.
"It's ok baby," Abby said, holding her daughter in her arms, "You guys were really trying to make me breakfast?"
"Yeah Mom, sorry it turned into a mess we'll clean it up!" Avery said, taking charge.
"It's ok Avery, we can do it later," Abby said, holding her son now too, "Is there anything left edible?"
"The toast Mommy! The toast!" Kirsi said, going to get the toast out of the toaster, "Hewe, Happy Mother's Day!"
