When I was a child I believed that there was no one braver than my father
who was a New York City firefighter. But then I learned that he was only
one of the bravest people. In life there is a group of people, the police,
firefighters and paramedics who work in New York City. I then grew up and
found out why they were the bravest. Because they saw the worst in life and
people, they tried to fix the pain and troubles that people faced when they
needed help.
I can now understand why I was always told to be brave and not afraid. I
always think of that when I know that I'm petrified, all I have to do is to
remember to be brave.
And I was brave, up until the day that I died. I remember being told that I would be okay and I am.
And I was brave, up until the day that I died. I remember being told that I would be okay and I am.
