Knowing Shinichi was her greatest fortune. Though she may have hated him when she first met him, but she came to love him whole heartedly. He was the one who made her smile, the one who protected her and the one who helped her in her distress.
But now, he was nowhere to be found when she needed him the most.
The Detective Boys, Agase, her dad, Sonoko and her had went together to the art exhibition in the newly opened Beika Tower. But as usual, there had to be some sort of case. And this time it was a bomb. And as usual, they were the last to evacuate.
As they were going down the stairs, from the 30th level, the stairs collapsed and she just managed to throw Ai to her dad before the ceiling from above had collapsed, separating her from everyone.
From her side, she could hear her dad and Conan screaming for her, wanting to come back for her. But the rescue team had managed to find them and evacuate them to safety,
She could vaguely hear the rescue team telling her to stay where she was so that they could come for her. But with more debris falling from above, she was forced to turn back and run.
Scared.
That was how she felt. This was a time when she was all alone. Her karate skills can't save her, her dad can't save her, and most importantly, the missing Shinichi can't save her.
She don't want to die. She promised to wait for Shinichi, to hear more about his cases and what new things he discovered about Sherlock Holmes. But, she doesn't know if she will survive this.
Just as she thought of that, more debris came falling down, trapping her in the small corner. Oxygen was running out, and the amount of smoke caused from the explosion was starting to suffocate her. But all she can think about is how she needs Shinichi. How she needs Shinichi's intelligence to get out of this situation. She may be smart, but not like Shinichi who could think out of the box.
She wonders what Shinichi is doing now. Is he solving some case again? Is he thinking of her?
Then she wonders about how he would react when he hears what happens to her. Will he cry? Will he be screaming? Ah, she wants to see how much he would cry when she's dead. Something must be wrong with her head, to be thinking of her own death. Maybe it's the smoke, or the lack of oxygen. Either way, it doesn't really matter to her.
She wonders if Shinichi will forget about her and find someone he loves. How much she envies that girl. The girl would probably be smart and witty enough to match him, and help him solve cases. A little like the relationship between Ai and Conan.
Ah, Conan. Will he be alright if he's alone with dad? Will he eat properly? How about dad? Would he be drowning himself in beer is she dies. She hopes he doesn't. She hopes that he would be strong and be there for her mother. She hopes that they would get back together. Too bad she probably won't be able to see it if they do.
Sonoko too. She can see how much Sonoko would be crying. But she isn't too worried. She knows that Makoto would be there for her, to pick her up. She wonders how Sonoko and Makoto's wedding would look like. It would be super glamorous. After all, Sonoko is the Suzuki Group's heiress. Would they go for a traditional wedding or a Western wedding? She knows Sonoko would probably like a Western wedding. But maybe Makoto would be able to get Sonoko to do a traditional wedding which is more of his style. Or maybe they will just have two weddings. Not really impossible if the bride is Sonoko. Ah, she wanted to be the maid of honour for Sonoko, but she guess she won't be able to be one anymore.
Ah…..She has so many regrets, but so little time left. Life is cruel isn't it? She just wish she could see everyone for the last time, especially that deduction otaku.
"But ah, this is the end" she thinks as she hears more debris falling from above.
