Prologue

Strands of golden locks were caught in the slight breeze that found the samurai as he was on his stroll throughout Edo. Amythest eyes studied those that he would walk close too, his eyes occasionally lingering on a pretty female. When the females would meet his glance, he would give a flirtacious wink which in turn a blush or giggle would be his reward. This would cause him to smile, how he enjoyed bringing that little bit of pleasure to the women of Edo.

Tamaki Suoh was not like most of the samurai of Edo. He was a foreigner from the mainland, a man who had fallen in love with the Japanese culture. Not only was he fascinated with the gorgeous women in their elaborate kimono, he was also very fond of the way of the samurai. He met a samurai named Kyouya and became acquainted with him. It wasn't long until Kyouya had taught him the sword and now Tamaki wandered the streets, to fight crime and protect the people of Edo.

Together with Kyouya, Tamaki formed a band of warriors to help him in his quest. He found a bunch of strong and yet good-lucking men that had the same interests as he. Hikaru and Kaoru, twins who were both had knowledge of the katana; a young-looking lad named Honey who mastered in the art of stealth; and a very tall gentleman who called himself Mori weilded a zanbatou.

The golden-haired samurai staggered backward as he has someone bump into him. He winced and looked down, noticing that it was a man and much shorter than him. A bag of rice that the stranger had been holding fell to the ground.

"Sumimasen," said Tamaki in a gentle voice before bending down and picking up the bag of rice. He handed it over to the stranger. He met the stranger's eyes and was amazed that such a man could have a pretty face. He also caught the scent of cherry blossoms which was unlike a man to have such a scent.

"Gomen na sai," stammered the stranger, bowing their head. The stranger took the rice and hurried on past Tamaki and into a crowd of townspeople. Tamaki watched him go still bewildered. With a shrug of his shoulders, Tamaki turned and continued on his walk. What a strange man and why does he smell like cherry blossoms.
