What a wretched planet.
After crash landing years ago, now she was apart, disembodied, and doomed to wait for eternities until her final reunion. Those scientists, who would use her power, her wisdom, torture her and then try to kill her, were now either dead or missing. Perhaps now she could come out of hiding, now she could reclaim what was hers once more…
All the time those dimwitted fools had thought that they could discover the secrets behind the planet. They were so closed-minded…they didn't even realize that the lifestream went beyond the planet, into space and past even that. It is, was, and always shall be the determining factor in every aspect of all that is real.
The lifestream coursed back and forth, carrying the remnants of all the dead, all of the in between, and all not yet alive. This worked to her advantage; she wouldn't even have to go looking for the pieces of her that were missing. After all, everything eventually returns to the lifestream.
As soon as her remnants were back within her, when she was complete again, she would take revenge on this horrid piece of wasted dirt, and reign back over the heavens and the skies, the stars and the spaces in between. She would be ruler once more, and nobody would ever be strong enough to break her again.
Before her descent, she had wielded the greatest of all powers- the power to control all of the cosmos. The voices of the stars and the planets rang out in conflict when she rose to her power, some calling for her reign, some protesting with violent force. The imbalance of the tides colliding caused an event that perhaps may have undone the universe and reality itself, had it gone that far.
In the end, the lifestream had to stop the fighting.
It lashed out at her, breaking her wings and destroying her vessel, devouring her strength and leaving her weaker than a misguided dead soul. She had crashed, and the war was put to an end.
The lifestream created a race of humans called the Cetra on the planet she was now confined to, who could converse with the lifestream itself. They could use its strength to make sure she never gained power again, and keep her a locked and tortured prisoner forever.
But her time as a weak captive was almost over. The Cetra were an extinct species, the last one dying only a few years ago. Many of her remnants had already returned to her, the Geostigma getting the better of them and disposing of everything but the cells needed for her to rise to her former glory, and perhaps even above that.
Jenova, the name that the demented human scientists gave her, did her no justice at all. For she was a Devourer of Planets, Dark Queen and Ruler of all. She would return to her throne above the skies once again, and she would have her revenge.
