It was set in a cool, autumn afternoon. The leaves hanging from the trees slightly ruffled along with the wind. A single leaf landed on the tummy of little Lilly Truscott. She was lying on a bench of a table in her preschool. A little brown haired boy with a lopsided grin sat next to her munching away on his snacks his mother prepared.

grumble grumble

"Wiwwy, what was that?" Oliver asked with slight fear in his eyes.

grumble

"Ollie, it's me! I'm hungwy!" Lilly pleaded, "Can I have some of your yummy food?"

Oliver pondered for a while, this was something he could take advantage of.

"Okay! Only if you give me something back." Oliver teased.

"But Ollie!" She whined, "I don't have anythings. Pleeeeease!" She sat up and looked him straight in the eye, slightly pouting. Oliver just returned her gaze and waited for her to give in.

"Okay, what do you want?" She asked defeated.

"A-a kiss." Oliver mumbled while his cheek grew a slight tinge of pink.

"A kiss?! But-but, you have cooties." She pointed out.

"Just oooneee..." He paused slightly, "Unless you don't want any food." He took a chip and bit parts of it off, a few crumbs falling onto the table. He turned to her giving his trademark lopsided grin.

Lilly watched him, her gaze never moving from the piece of food he held between his fingers.

"So..." crunch "hung..." crunch "gry..." crunch

In a split second, Lilly grabbed his bag of chips and darted as fast as she could from him. She grabbed a handful of chips and stuffed them into her mouth. Just as Lilly was starting to slow down, Oliver tackled her to the ground causing the bag of chips to hit a nearby beehive.

They were lying under a big oak tree. She was on bottom, with her hair sprawled out. Oliver held himself up with his arms to her sides. This would be an awkward position, but they were only three.

"Wiwwy," Oliver said warningly, "those we're my favowits." Oliver sat up and crossed his arms over his chest. He stuck out his lower lip and puffed up his cheeks.

"Sowy." Lilly cried. Tears were brimming from her eyes. She truly thought that Oliver was mad at her.

"D-don't cwy, Wiwwy." He whispered, he bent down to close the gap between him and her lips when the buzzing grew louder.

Lilly looked up and saw a few bees heading their way.

"Ollie, bees!" She cried.

Oliver crouched lower and did his best to cover Lilly. He hugged her face and used his body to cover her as much as he could. The buzzing of the bees finally ceased, but Oliver left with a few battle scars. His face had two stings on each of his cheeks, but Lilly was just fine.

"Ollie, you saved me." Lilly turned her head to look at his face. But what she saw wasn't Oliver. It was a boy with his hair, his eyes, his trademark lopsided grin, but with HUGE cheeks.

"Wiwwy." His voice was barely audible, "my kiss...".

"Ew, NO! I'm not kissing you!" Lilly teased. But Oliver held his cheeks, his eyes were red with tears falling from it.

"Aw, Ollie." Lilly giggled as she closed the gap between her and the boy with a lopsided grin.
