This is Oneshot-chan's first oneshot!

Mint: Good luck, you'll need it.

Blame

"Dang it! Everything is going wrong!" Kisshu complained. For once, Taruto agreed, grumbling along.

"The Mews are so meddlesome. Especially Pudding! Every time she sees me, she tries to choke me to death. So barbaric…"

The lights were off in their bedroom and it was 2 am, but Kisshu and Taruto ranted on and on.

Soon, the ranting turned into a heated debate regarding the reason they kept losing.

"You are too attached to the Old Hag!"

"Oh yeah? Who's the one with the addiction to sugar after the monkey girl gave you the candy?"

"My craving for sugar has nothing to do with the mission!"

"Nope. Just during the previous battle, you were supposed to wait for the Mews in the central square to ambush them with Chimera Animals. Then you smelled those human candies and you went inside to get some, missing the Mews completely!"

"W-well…" Taruto responded indignantly. "The candies taste good… and… and they make me more alert! Yup, they do." He nodded at his own excuse approvingly.

"Alert? Yeah right." Kisshu snorted. "So alert that you missed the Mews."

Taruto felt a pang of hurt.

"If you didn't go easy on the old hag 24/7, this problem would have been solved already!"

"And if you would have let the monkey girl died when she was under the rocks, this problem would have also been solved!"

"YOU CALL THE OLD HAG YOUR KONEKO-CHAN!" Taruto jabbed. Kisshu flinched.

"YOU BLUSH WHEN THE MONKEY HUGS YOU!" Taruto's face turned red for an instant, then it reverted back to normal.

"YOU KISSED HER!"

"YOU LIKE HER!"

"I DON'T CARE!" They both screamed out and dived back into their blankets.

"Kisshu. Taruto." The two turned to Pai, who was standing by the door. "Would you please quiet down? I was having a dream-"

"About the fishie?" Kisshu piped up. Taruto sniggered.

Pai's face turned a bright shade of red. "N-no, wh-why would I-I dr-dream that…" (A/N: Lie. He was dreaming about the fishie.)

He blinked to clear of his dazed eyes and his face turned stoic once more.

"Go to bed." He frowned, and closed the door.

"His face is still red." The two younger siblings commented together, then snickered.

"Oh god, how are we supposed to accomplish the mission when we all like our enemies?"

Review? I'm planning on writing a chapter 2 about the Mews blaming each other. But I'm not sure right now. Should I?
