"Sometimes it's not the people who change. It's the mask that falls off."

I think this is already a cliché storyline but what the heck, I'm bored

Thanks to Yoagil Izneal and Teen Titans Forever Together, I was once again inspired to write. Cheers to you both, bros. XD

Kt Katz, dude, chill. I'm sorry for not updating. I was concentrated with studies. And I had no idea what to write next.

It took 15 robberies, 20 kidnapping, 5 stalking attempts, 10 forbidden night visits and 1 rescue for Raven to realize that a certain thief will do anything to get her attention.

Raven sighed in irritation. She had caught the masked thief once again, stealing a necklace. "Once again, Red-X, let me ask you… WHY THE HELL ARE YOU STEALING A NECKLACE THAT YOU KNOW IS FAKE?" she shrieked, causing every light bulb to shatter and every alarm to go off in the city.

Red-X, with all his black and white glory, just saluted at the female then teleported off. "You're not in the mood to play with me, Sunshine. I'll better luck next time."

The titan bit her lip until it bled, controlling her temper. "Why?" she hissed.

"Raven!" a familiar voice rang out. "Are you alright?" Robin asked and turned the hooded figure around.

The reply he got from their Goth was a growl and four red eyes glaring at him. "Why did you create that fucking bastard?" she snarled. The building shook from the half-demon's power. Realizing her powers are going berserk, she teleported to one of the most secluded place on earth; Socotra Island in Yemen.

"Dude," Cyborg started but shook his head. "Never mind."

"I didn't do anything!" the boy wonder defended.

"Like I said, never mind," the half-robot murmured.

Raven took a deep breath and floated towards one of the trees. She leaned on the umbrella like tree and meditated. After a few minutes of total isolation, the scent of tea interrupted her from her concentration. Violet eyes blinked open. "Who on their right minds come to this desolated area?" she asked.

"You," an electronic voice muttered.

Raven gave a small smile, recognizing Cyborg's voice. "Why did you come here?" she asked gently.

"I was just thinking that you need someone to talk to."

"X is starting to get on my nerves."

Cyborg grinned. "That dude is starting to have a crush on you," he stated, handing a thermos of hot tea to the pale female.

"Explain."

"The robberies, you disappearing for two days without any communication, those alarms being triggered at Titan Tower," the half-bot enumerated. "Come on, sis, he likes you. Heck, I saw him following you when you were on patrol for the last five days."

Raven groaned. "What does he see into me that isn't in Star or Jinx or any female in this planet?" she demanded.

Cyborg stepped closer to the half-demon. "You are beautiful," he breathed. Tracing his finger on Raven's cheek, he sighed. "No girl could ever be compared to you." Their faces were inches apart when Raven decided to take a sip on her tea. Cyborg laughed when he saw how red the female was. "That's a very rare sight you are making, Sunshine."

Upon hearing the nickname the thief had given to her, Raven stepped back and used her power to slam her companion on a nearby tree. "You," she hissed.

"Chill, Sunshine, I mean you no harm!" Red X panicked. "I just came to talk."

"Talk? TALK? You want to talk? For the past month or so, you have been constantly trying my nerves! You~!" her communicator rang, interfering with her rants. She took a deep breath before answering the irritating thing in her belt. "What?" she demanded.

"Sis, where are you? Needing you here in Jump City now. Hive is destroying parts of it," Cyborg's voice announced.

Red X thanked every deity he knew. Lady Luck was smiling down on him right now. He thanked the gods for sparing his life for now. "Yoohoo, Sunshine, a little help here?"

The female mumbled something in her demonic language before opening a portal. "Stay," she stated before disappearing.

Red X sighed in defeat. He had to admit that he should listen to the beauty. The only thing that made him teleport back to Jump was that his gut feeling told him that something was wrong.

And true to its nature, he was right. Once he teleported to the city, he watched Starfire dancing with the large, furry human. He sighed and turned towards the other side of the building. Cyborg and the green thing were battling the baby-genius and the bat-like thing, Robin and Jinx were yelling statements that should not be heard in society. His hidden eyes blinked. Where the fuck was the dark bird?

He jumped from building to building, ignoring shouts of alarm and debris thrown in his direction. 'Dammit, where are you, Sunshine?' he thought. As if his prayers were answered, he found her. She was in the middle of two collapsing buildings, trying to hold it in place for the people to pass through.

"Hey, people, move your asses before I personally kick you to oblivion!" Red-X yelled, perched not very far from the titan.

"X," Raven hissed, almost losing her concentration. "What are you doing?" she demanded.

The masked man did not reply. He just pointed at the exit for all the humans gawking at her. "I said move it!" The voice modulator almost cracked from his loud voice.

Raven gritted her teeth. She had to admit, with X leading the civilians out of danger, she could let the building collapse. 'Better hurry, X. I'm losing concentration,' she telepathically hissed inside the villain's head. She watched in mild amusement how the male turn around, trying to find the source of her voice.

After five minutes of retaining the collapsing buildings, everyone was out of sight. With a sigh of relief, the female titan let the structures collapse. She walked leisurely out of the way.

"Raven!" X's cracked metallic voice yelled. The female stared in the shock before letting her black energy engulf her. She was not expecting the villain to dash towards the falling building.

Raven stared in shock. Guilt started gripping her heart before her knees gave in. "X!" she called out. With her remaining energy, she started digging the debris. "X!" she shrieked.

Coughs were heard behind her. She turned back to stare at a kid wearing the infamous mask while someone with black hair with X's suit was hugging him. "Come on, kid. Don't run into danger like that," he scolded after his coughing fit. The child crying, the mask's modulator making his voice weird was hugging the figure back, saying sorry.

Raven stepped cautiously towards the two. "Are you two alright?" she asked, her initial shock receding.

Both looked up. Emerald eyes met lavender. The black haired male's eyes widened. Without any warning, he took the kid's mask and teleported away from the child he saved and the titan he was previously staring. The child, looking for warmth, stood up from the rubble and dashed towards Raven.

The surprised demoness stared at the space where the handsome being was before looking down at the wailing boy. "There, there," she hummed, kneeling down and hugging him back. "Don't cry little one." As she hushed the boy, her sadistic side was still in shock. 'Payback,' the red-eyed emotion cackled.
