Hello pickaxe my good tool,
Time again to mine the coal.
Because a chicken loudly walking,
Planted seeds while I was tilling.
And a diamond, I spotted in the mines,
Still remains,
Within the dark, strip mine

In sleepless nights I walked alone.
Down streets of cobble stone.
Beneath a glowing redstone torch,
I turned my helm to an arrow passing,
Then my leg was stabbed by the tip of an arrow head.
Split my skin.
And touched the dark, strip mine.

And in the soft red light I saw,
Ten thousand creepers maybe more,
Creepers talking without speaking.
Zombies hearing without listening.
Skellies drawing bows, that mobs will never share.
And I didn't dare,
Disturb the dark, strip mine

"Tool" said I, "you do not know."
"Mobs like a cancer grow.
Strike the stone that I might teach you,
Climb the vines so that I might reach you"
And my words, like pounding axes tapped,
And rapped.
In the dark strip, mine.

So there I bowed and prayed.
To the diamond god I made.
And a light flashed out a warning.
A hissing from right behind me.
And the sound said,
"The profit you have found will be blasted all away,"
Or may despawn.
All alone in the dark, strip pickaxe my good tool,

Time again to mine the coal.
Because a chicken loudly walking,
Planted seeds while I was tilling.
And a diamond, I spotted in the mines,

Within the dark, strip mine
