I don't own any of the InuYasha characters, but I'm working on it ;)
Anything in italics represents a characters thoughts or a flashback.
"Anything in quotations is a character speaking out loud"
Anything underlined is a youkai's beast thinking or conversing through either his/her mate's mind or to the youkai (unless it's stating a person's POV).
"Anything underlined and in quotes is a youkai's beast speaking."
"Anything in bold and in quotes represents the youkai's beast in a rage."
Now, let's get this party started (:
Kagome's POV
I sighed for what seemed like the millionth time in the past hour. InuYasha had left again, no doubt on his way to see his mate, Kikyo. When he first announced to our little group that he'd mated Kikyo, I was shocked to say the least. I can remember that day as clearly as if it happened just yesterday.
(FlashBack)
It was a normal day for the most part, the sun was directly overhead, symbolizing that it was around noon. InuYasha had been gone since the same time the previous night, and even though we were worried he told us to not follow him. The peaceful quiet that had invaded the clearing we were currently seated in was broken by a rustling sound in the bushes. I hurriedly grabbed my bow and notched an arrow and vaguely noticed the others getting into battle positions. We sighed in relief when InuYasha stepped out of the bushes and relaxed ourselves somewhat. It was quiet for a few minutes until InuYasha cleared his voice and began speaking.
"Uh… I have something I think you should all know… I mated with Kikyo. She will be joining our group, and if any of you have a problem with it, you can leave now," with the last line he spoke, he directed his attention solely to me and I felt my heart tearing in two. I turned and walked calmly towards the hot springs, with Sango on my trail. It was there that I allowed my tears to fall, and it was there I swore I wouldn't cry over InuYasha anymore.
(End FlashBack)
Well, I guess there's no reason to sit around here and do nothing, a trip to the hot springs would be nice. I decided to go alone, so I could soak and give my tired muscles a rest before InuYasha got back. I got to the hot spring in record time, took off my school uniform and undergarments, and slipped into the calming water.
Mmm, this is nice. To be able to relax and not have to hear constant yelling and screaming oh I wish I… wait, was that a scream? And it sounded like someone shouting "Sesshomaru". But why would anyone call for him? The cold hearted demon lord?
