The House Elf Liberation Front
Elves deserve rights too you know
Don't let them be denied
They have no pay, and no free day
By masters they abide
Is this fair, we ask ourselves
The answer must be no
If you care about the elves
Then let your anger show
So join up now, two sickles each
And help them in their plight
The House Elf Liberation Front
We strive to make things right!
"Hermione, that's the biggest load of rubbish I ever saw!" said Ron derisively, handing the parchment to Harry, who read it over, trying not to laugh.
"It is NOT!" said Hermione, indignant. "It's to advertise our cause."
"Hermione, really, that is NOT going to convince people to sign up!" Ron maintained. "Nothing could make them do that," he added under his breath.
"And whose cause was that?" he continued. "OURS? It's no cause of mine, believe me! They like their work Hermione! How many times?!"
"Harry, you like it don't you?" said Hermione pleadingly, turning to Harry for support.
"I, er…..I, well, it's…."
"Oh, honestly! Even my best friends won't support me! I'm only trying to help these elves!"
Ron and Harry looked at each other as she stormed away, and burst into laughter as the portrait hole slammed behind her.
