Monday morning, Ianto was buttoning his waistcoat while Jack shaved in the next room. Ianto glanced at the clock, wondering if they'd have time for a proper breakfast before getting off to "Weevils Incorporated" for the day.

A sudden scream from the bath nearly made Ianto snap off a button.

Ianto grabbed his gun from the dresser and ran into the bath. "Jack! What happened?"

Jack stood, back against the wall, wild-eyed, pointing at the shower.

"What?" Ianto asked, pulling back instinctively. He couldn't see anything but maybe whatever it was had gone invisible?

Jack started. "There!"

Just then a reddish-brown spider scurried up the shower wall.

Jack squeaked again and backed up against the wall.

"That spider?" Ianto asked dubiously.

"Get rid of it," Jack all but begged.

"A spider? You, the great Captain Jack Harkness… hunter of weevils, space voyager, unkillable Jack Harkness… cowed by a tiny little house spider?"

Jack swallowed hard. "We didn't have spiders on Boeshane!" he said defensively.

"You've been here for well over a century. You've dealt with weevils, blowfish, daleks, psychotic time agents… psychotic time lords…. But you are terrified of a spider?"

"That doesn't mean I can stand them! The way they move… at least you can see a weevil coming."

"Jack…. A spider?"

"I'm never going to hear an end to this, am I?" Jack asked.

Ianto just shook his head. "Though, for a debt of sexual favors, I may see my way clear to not mentioning it to anyone else."

Jack sighed. "You have officially been around me too much. Can you please just make it go away? I'll do whatever you want."

Ianto smirked, finding a cup to trap the spider in. "I may start having these imported."

"Definitely around me too much," Jack pouted, cautiously backing out of the room.
