Ghost lay stretched out on his bed, reading. Roach was only a few feet away, typing on his laptop. The Englishman looked up and raised an eyebrow when Roach randomly went into a coughing fit.

"You alright bug?"

Roach gave once last hack and cleared his throat.

"Yeah, allergies."

Ghost continued to study Roach skeptically.

"You don't have allergies."

Roach turned, surprised. He didn't except Ghost to press the matter further. Usually the lieutenant was known for not really giving a shit about other peoples problems.

"Im fine, really."

Ghost shrugged and turned back to his book.

"Don't sound like it."

"I-"

Roach stopped, his face went blank. His mouth opened, but no words came out. Ghost looked back up curiously.

"You what?"

"….. ACHOO!"

Roach let a loud sneeze go, splattering snot and spit all over the screen of his computer.

"Oh man! My screen!" He groaned, whipping the glass with his shirt sleeve. He slumped down in his chair and coughed again.

"Ghoooost?"

The Englishman didn't looked up from his book as he spoke.

"Ya?"

"… Im sick."

"I know bug, I know."

Ghost shifted over on his bed and beckoned for the sergeant to join him with one hand, the other hand still on his book.

"Get your arse over here."

Roach raised an eyebrow and remained in his seat. The way Ghost said that wasn't very inviting.

"I don't want you to catch it."

Ghost shook his head and sighed, amused.

"Do I look worried?"

Roach was about to comment about the fact he didn't look anything with the scull mask on, but didn't bother. His throat hurt. Defeated, he got up and dragged himself over to the bed. He laid down and rested his head on the larger mans chest. Ghost wrapped his free arm around Roach's shoulders and yet again began to read. After a few minutes he realized Roach was falling asleep and closed his book. He gently got up, shaking awake Roach. He groaned and sat up himself.

"Oh come on, I was comfortable."

Ghost smiled lovingly and jumped off the bed. He grabbed the blanket and threw it over Roach, who had already laid back down. Once the smaller man was tucked in Ghost head for the door so he could sleep.

"Simon?"

Ghost stopped halfway to the door and winced. He was only ever called Simon when his lover wanted something.

"Aye?"

"Can you lay with me a little longer?"

The neediness in the sergeants voice was what dragged Ghost back to the bed. He climbed in and wrapped his arms around Roach's waist. Immediately Roach curled up against him, basically sealing his fate. Ghost sighed in annoyance and mumbled to himself. Suddenly Roach spoke, half asleep.

"I love you Simon."

This caught him a little off guard. Imminently all his annoyance left. He suddenly felt happy to be laying fully awake in the dark with a wheezing 24 year old in his arms.

"Love you too bug."

Sorry I haven't written in a few days, iv been sick myself. I already have a slash story about Ghost and Roach, but I love the pairing so much I want to do another!
