I've been away from writing for too long. I'm procrastinating and I hate it. I want to write, but I keep putting it off. So, here's what I going to do: I'm going to instead of make this a full blow story, I'm going to put One shots of many different ideas that have been bouncing around my head. I want you all to pick which ones should be a full story or not. Now mind you, I am new to this style of writing and am also going through the longest fanboy faze of my life so I want y'all to bear with me. Also, spout in ideas that I could potentially write or pair another with. I'm at a loss and just can't think of anything that'll stick at this current time. I want to start a story and finish it.
Now that that little speech is done, on with the first idea! (By the way, they will go in as scenes I picture. So don't expect a full start to a story. Just expect something like previews or clips.) (Oh and also also, expect cameos from other stories that are a great read or old OCs that are being recycled for the shine of light they missed. I'll mention the cameo or story at the end.) (Sorry, but one more thing, this will bleed into other territories of fandoms.)
"Two tangoes ahead. Got a bead?" She said into the earpiece.
"I've got a whole bracelet," Ruby said.
Shortly after, the two guards dropped with one missing the entire left side of his face and the other with a sizable hole in his chest.
"Goodnight." She voiced over the comm said.
"That 80x I bought for your birthday payin' off sis?" Yang whispered as she moved up to the door, followed by Blake, who began to drop the bag and open it.
"You bet. In fact, I can see your soul." Ruby replied.
"Hey! Don't be aimin' that damn thing at me. I don't want to end up like those two." Yang whisper shouted.
"Would you two focus! This is a serious mission, and you two are chatting like you wouldn't get shot." Weiss scolded.
"Sorry Ice Queen. What's your ETA?" Yang asked.
"Inbound ETA 2 minutes. Hang tight. And please, radio silence until then?" She said.
"Roger that." Yang replied, cutting the earpiece off "Sooo..."
"Yang, don't start." Blake cut her off.
"What? Just trying to alleviate the boredom. You know how I hate stealth."
"Yeah, and I'm trying to concentrate. So shut that motor you call a mouth off and keep a lookout."
"Fine, fine."
After a few seconds of Blake fiddling with the door, it made a clicking noise.
"Alright, we're in." She announced, putting the materials back into the bag and hoisting it around her shoulder.
"Now we wait for the show to start." Yang said as they walked in. Going up a few stairs, they were met with a view of the entire courtyard, filled with trucks, barrels, and men armed to the teeth. They crouched behind a wall that provided many levels of cover.
A minute passes, and Blake flicks her ear to hear a low whirr sound incoming. "Radio silence is now broken."
Reaching to click their pieces back on, they were interrupted when the loud engine of an A-10 and the following of it firing had come rushing through the courtyard. A few explosions and men rushing around stirred up the place, creating a perfect opportunity for the black and yellow duo to maneuver their way through the chaos and to the opposite side.
"Coming around, ETA 30 seconds until sweep and clear," Weiss said.
"Roger. Rubes?" Yang said.
"I've been picking off targets before Weiss even did a flyby. Our target is currently surrounded as I've made him think. He's in the conference room under his desk."
"Okay miss showoff. Roger."
The two made their way across the courtyard in less than a minute and without the need to off someone, as the red and white pair were already on that. They went inside the door and hid behind some nearby boxes as Blake heard some men scrambling to get outside as quickly as possible. Blake gave the go-ahead, and they made their way to a split in the corridor, only to go the opposite way of the other. They made their way through the building, Blake avoiding everyone with the exceptional guard and dog that sniffed her out. Yang, on the other hand, killed everyone that she had the pleasure of running into.
Arriving in their designated areas, both placing breaching charges on the doors, they waited for the other.
"Ready Blake?"
"Ready, on 3. 3..2..1, breach!"
And with that, the doors on either side of the room blew open, and they marched in, guns drawn at the desk that sat in the front of the room.
"Come out Tyrian!" Yang shouted. There was a pause, and she decided to drag him out herself.
She looked under the desk, only to find nothing. "What!"
"What's wrong?" Blake asked, lowering her weapon.
"He's not here!" Yang exclaimed.
Weiss came over the Ruby came on, "Come again?"
Yang clicker her piece, "Weiss fly away now!"
"What? Wh- Ah shit, I've been hit!"
"Weiss!"
The two both rush to the nearby window to see that her jets left engine is smoking and on fire while she slowly spins towards the ground.
"What's going on down there!" Ruby shouted.
"Ruby, call to Beacon 1-2, we nee-" Yang's voice stopped mid-sentence, leaving Ruby dumbfounded at what's happening. She watched as Weiss' jet crashed into the forest nearby, and saw multiple trucks and men heading in that direction.
"Hello? Hello! Dammit!" Yang shouted and slammed her fist against the table.
"What's wrong?" Blake asked, pointing her weapon at the door she came in from.
"Signals jammed. These bastards planned this didn't they?"
Just then, from both doors, multiple men came in guns drawn, and shouting at the two to drop theirs.
They complied and did as they were told. Two soldiers came and restrained their hands behind their backs with wire and stood them up. They were then approached by the man they were supposed to be capturing.
"Tyrian." Yang spat.
"In the flesh. And you little missy, are coming with me." He smiled.
Ruby could only watch as her sister and Balke were led out of the room, for if she did something, that could potentially be an end to the two. She unscoped and started to climb down the tower she was perched on.
"I have to get to Weiss. They come next." She told herself.
As she reached the bottom, she tried her comms again for Weiss, only to receive nothing but static. Just as she was getting ready to leave, a gun cocking drew her attention to a woman with it pointed to her head.
"Cinder." She said with venom, narrowing her eyes. The hair over her right eye as a telltale sign.
"Sorry sweetie, but this is nothing but personal." Cinder spat, Followed by a gunshot and a body hitting the floor.
Inspiration: Stronghold and Eye of The Storm missions from MW3. Think of that in a blender and there you go.
