"There she is!" yelled a villager. A mob formed behind the man as a monk stood beside him welding a bow and some arrows. The mob held your typical torches and pitch-forks screaming about nonsense. I stood up and turned towards the people of my village with an expressionless face.

"That's her monk! The woman that's been stealing the souls of the dead!" a couple villagers yelled pointing their weapons at me.

"I see," said the monk as he then lifted his bow placing an arrow on it and taking aim. "I shall bind her to the tree in eternal sleep," he yelled releasing the arrow. I spread my gray angelic wings to fly away, but I was too late. The monk's spell bound arrow pierced through my stomach attaching me to the sakura tree behind me. I heard two more plucks of the bow and found my wings bound to a branch on either side above my head. My head slouched down as my eyes closed, and I fell into a deep sleep never to awake.
