Transporting to her room, Emma peered at the figure that was asleep in her bed. She watched as he tossed and turned, whispering "Emma" in his sleep.

She stepped closer and tilted her head, surveying him; studying him.

"If we can overcome our demons, then so can you."

She shook the memory away. Oh, she has demons alright. Dark ones. She didn't want to overcome them. This was who she was. The years of trying to fight it and put it aside and be good; that was over. They were all pathetic for even attempting to stop her. Catching her reflection in the mirror, she took in her attire. Sheer black. It suited her.

"Emma, please." he whispered again during slumber. She stepped closer, hovering over him. She despised this feeling she was feeling. Unhinged and off balance. She didn't know what to do with it.

He didn't even remember anything from Camelot. She was envious of that. What she would give to just shed the memories she had of them together, from Camelot and beyond. The hand-holding, the kisses, the way he looked at her, the way he had always wanted to help. As if he could. He thought he knew it all. He thought he knew her. He had no idea who she was, how she could utterly destroy him.

He didn't remember.

With a flick of her wrist, two beautiful gold rings appeared, dancing before her eyes in a golden haze. A memory from Camelot came to her, a moment before she accepted her darkness.

"I do.

I do."

The rings continued to dance before her, twirling and tinkling, the light around them ever so bright and gold.

Shaking out of her reverie, she flicked her wrist again, the rings disappearing.

He didn't remember.

A swirl of magic, and she was gone.

End.
