He sits under the obstructed moon, clouds hiding its light.
The lights from inside her house catch his attention.
He watches as the lights in the different rooms flicker on and off. Each one gives away her location inside the house and specifies what she's doing at any given moment.
He loves this game - each time he waits, she's in a different room doing different things. He tires to guess each one; he has a perfect record so far.
He arranges each room nicely in his head, trying to guess when and where she'll be next.
There are, however, always two consistences.
The first is the kitchen. He can tell because the far light in the back is on, its dimness barely seeping out the curtains in the front window. She's finished her dinner by now , he surmises, ice cream for desert, maybe?
She doesn't stay in the kitchen too long.
She heads into the front room, flicking the front light on and the kitchen light off.
He can see her shadow sitting against the wall and the lights from the TV flashing. He waits, patiently, knowing that she wont keep him waiting for too much longer.
He grows impatient, gnawing on this thumb nail, waiting for her.
Finally.
She gets up, flicks the front light off.
Her house is dark now.
The light from the second floor is his que.
He flings the car door open, racing towards her front door. She's left it open for him and he races up her stairs to find her in her in her bathroom.
In the shower.
Naked.
Waiting for him.
The second consistency. Puzzle solved, he thinks cheekily.
Her bum presses nicely into his thighs; the hot water is running off of her breasts.
"Hm," she says as he clasps her hips and gently kisses her neck. "Why do you always wait so long?"
"Because I like solving the puzzle."
She groans and he kneads her her breasts, warm and supple from the hot water.
"I'm...hmm...I'm a puzzle?"
"No," he kisses her temple. "You're not. The house is."
"Ugh...I don't..." he massages her thighs. "I don't understand how this is a puzzle."
"Do you care?" He kisses the back of her neck as he spreads her legs open gently with his knee cap.
She doesn't answer. Instead, she lens forward and presses her palms to the shower wall; the water runs over her face.
"It's where you are in the house. It's how you fit into the puzzle. If I solve it, I get rewarded."
She gasps as he enters her and he grips her hips, preparing them both.
She moans. "I think that you fit nicely into this puzzle."
He smiles.
Outside, the clouds clear and the moon shines brightly.
