"No! You stay awake! Do you hear me? Don't you dare close your eyes! No! Please! Ezra!"
Is this what it felt like? Is this what it fell like to lose someone you love and not being able to do anything to save them? Aria moved Ezra's head onto her lap, her hand combing through is hair. His eyes we're closed and if you didn't look at his side you would just think he was asleep. She could hear siren's in the background, but she just kept staring down at his face. He looked so peaceful. Like he was already gone. She didn't know what the girls were doing. She didn't really care, all she cared about was getting Ezra to the hospital. She felt hands close around the top of her arms and haul her up from the floor, away from Ezra.
"Get off me! Ezra needs me!" Aria's voice cracked, seeing Ezra just lying there on the floor, blood staining his t-shirt.
"Aria, the paramedics are going to take him to hospital. And you can't be seen with him rushing into the back of the ambulance. Questions will be asked and you don't need that, especially now. We'll find out where he's being sent to and we'll go in my car okay?" Spencer kept a strong grip on Aria, dragging her and the rest of the girls down the stairs.
They watched on as Ezra was placed in the back of the ambulance, before the paramedic shut the door and drove away.
"I need... I need to see him. I need to find out... um... which hospital he's at" Aria started to wonder down the street following the ambulance, but felt Hanna tug on her arm.
"Hey, you're not alone in this you know? Come on, Spence will drive you and we'll meet you there" Aria forced a smile, appreciating how supportive her friends were.
"What if he doesn't pull through? What am I going to do? Guy's, I can't lose him... I can't" Aria couldn't breath, her chest was caving in. Thoughts were whirling around in her head. What if he doesn't pull through? There was so much blood and how can anyone survive loosing that much blood?
He has to pull through. So they can sort things out. He just has to pull through, because she just isn't ready for the alternative.
