A/N: A short story I worked on in one night. I have writer's block for my other Fifty Shades story and this somehow entered my mind. Please Read and Review. Enjoy! :)
I sit on my bed and play with my toy helicopter I got for my birthday. The helicopter is white and the blades are blue. I push the blades with my finger. They spin round and round.
"Christian! Christian!" I hear Lelliot call my name.
His shoes slam on the ground as he runs to my room. He opens my door and jumps up and down. He is smiling. "Mommy and Daddy have a surprise for us!" He yells. Lelliot is clapping his hands a lot.
I don't say words to Lelliot. I only look at him. His is very happy and excited. "Come with me, Christian!" Lelliot wants me to follow him. He tries to grab my hand. I smack Lelliot's hand away. I still don't like to be touched. I give him an angry look.
Lelliot rubs his hand where I smacked him. He says "I'm sorry" to me. Lelliot is sad. I know he might tell Mommy. Then she will yell at me and I will be in big trouble. I don't wanna say words to Lelliot now. I give him a sad face. A 'sorry' face like his.
-"Elliot!"
-"Christian!"
Our Daddy calls our names. Lelliot runs fast to Daddy. I put my toy helicopter away. I peek out and see Lelliot give Daddy a big hug. Daddy says we have a new sister. Lelliot follows into Mommy and Daddy's room. I walk slowly. I wanna see our new sister but I'm scared Lelliot told Mommy I smacked him already.
I can see Mommy is holding something covered in a pink blankie. Is that our new sister? She is small.
I stand and watch from behind the door and listen to them talk. Lelliot wants our new sister to play. Mommy says that one day she will and she will have toys like we do. Mommy puts her hands in Lelliot's hair.
Lelliot leaves because he wants to go back to playing with his toys. Does he not like our new sister?
Daddy sees me peeking in the room. He smiles at me. "Christian…" He says my name softly. "Come meet your new sister." I step from behind the door and walk over to Mommy and Daddy.
Mommy pats a spot on the bed for me to sit on. I climb up the bed and sit a little bit far from them.
"Would you like to hold your new sister, Christian?" Daddy asks me. I say 'Yes' with my head. Daddy takes my sister from Mommy. He puts her in my arms. "Hold her like this, Christian." Mommy makes a oval shape with her arms.
I do like Mommy does. I am now holding my new sleeping sister. Her eyes open. She sees me. She smiles and laughs. I smile back. She is happy to see me. My new sister wiggles a lot. I don't want her to fall so I hold her tightly.
Her arms stretch out from the pink blankie. My sister has tiny hands and fingers. She grabs my fingers like I am holding her now, tightly. She loves me. She knows she is safe.
"Her name is Mia. M-I-A." Daddy says. Mi-a. M-I-A. Mi-a. I say and spell her name in my head like Daddy did. Mia. I like that name. I like it so much, I say it loud for my new sister to hear.
"Mia…!"
She smiles and laughs again. She is very happy because that is her name. My new sister… Mia.
