This is the introduction of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I don't know how far I'll get on it, due to
many other things on my mind, but I will try to find the time to write more. I hope you enjoy this :)
"Tell me, do you ever feel a strange sadness when night falls? Some say it's when our world intercepts with theirs. It feels like the forest is a completely different place… but that's not the reason why I wanted to talk to you." Rusl looked over his shoulder and saw the young boy, about 15 or 16 years old, staring into the Faron spring. "Tomorrow, you know I'll be heading for Hydrule Castle… but I made a change." The boy now glanced at Rusl. "I thought you might want to see the rest of the world, since you're never been out of the village area. You shall go in my place to give the royal family our Ordan gift, Link."
Now the boy, known as Link, was fully looking at Rusl. "Link, do you think you're up for the job," Rusl asked. Link stared for moment with kind, but fierce eyes, and smiled at his friend. The two of them smiled at each other and then Rusl stood up. "It's getting rather late, lets head back." Link glanced back at the spring and stood up to fetch his horse.
Link's horse, her pack full of wood, happily greeted her master and neighed at his approach. Link grabbed her reins and followed Rusl back to their quiet little village. They silently walked across the bridge looming over the Ordan Gorge and they passed the small spring near their homes. Finally, they reached their village and Rusl said goodnight to Link and headed towards his house. Link quietly watched Rusl walk down the path and through a small canyon, where on the other side was the main part of the village. Link steered his horse, Epona, towards her sleeping place. He softly patted her head and walks towards the ladder to his house. He climbed up and opened the door. He once more glanced behind at the sky. The young boy knew he would have a busy day tomorrow.
