Janet picked something up off a nearby tray and waved it at O'Neill as she threatened, "This is a fully loaded syringe here, Colonel, and if you insist on continuing to harass my nurses I will use it!"

The colonel crossed his arms over his chest and pouted, looking very much like a spoiled five year old who wasn't getting his own way. Not wanting to encourage his childish behavior, Janet resisted the urge to laugh.

"You're no fun," Colonel O'Neill muttered.

One of the nurses stifled a laugh. Seemingly encouraged by this, the colonel stuck his tongue out at Janet as he reiterated, "No fun at all."

Janet turned to glare at the offending nurse, who blushed then quickly walked away. Hiding the smile that had crept across her lips, Janet turned her attention back to her impatient patient. "I'm not kidding, sir."

"But, Doc, I-"

Janet cut the colonel off, "No! You were shot with an alien arrow less than six hours ago, Colonel; you lost a lot of blood and need to rest. You are not going anywhere and that's final. You will lie in this bed and behave yourself until I am ready to release you. Capiche?"

Grumbling, the colonel nodded and muttered, "Fine!"

Satisfied that the colonel would at least try to behave himself, Janet gave her sometimes-childish charge one last "don't mess with me" glare before smiling and leaving him to pluck at his sheet. His team would be done soon. They could entertain him, at least for a few minutes, while she attempted to get other work done.
