Daddy's little girl
Summary: Because even thought she wouldn't admit it she would always be his little girl, daddy's little girl. Future-fic, Channy implied.
Disclaimer: I own nothing unfortunately...
A/N: I had though of this one-shot a while ago, consider it an extra chapter for 'Who's the cutest baby in the world?' :)
The eight-year-old girl continued climbing the hill. Her curly blond hair was caught up in a neat ponytail, she was grinning widely and her brown eyes were shining with excitement. A light blue baseball cap was protecting her eyes from the sun. Ella May Cooper looked back to find her dad leaning against a rock breathing heavily.
"Daddy hurry up!" Ella complained pouting.
Chad sighed exhausted and moaned.
"Do we really have too?" he whined.
She placed her small hands on her hips like her mom used to making Chad smile at the memory.
"Of course! You promised me." she replied matter-of-factly rolling her eyes.
Chad adjusted his cap as Ella walked to him.
"Actually mommy was the one who promised-"
Ella interrupted him with her 'business finger'. Even though she had inherited her 'business finger' from him and many of his facial features Ella had surely inherited her mom's bubbly personality.
"Mommy said we needed more dad-daughter bonding time and you said you'd do whatever I wanted to." Ella made her Bambi eyes and pouted sadly. "You spent the whole week shooting and you missed my soccer game." she added making him feel guilty.
"I had an important interview and I didn't miss all your soccer game, I watched the last five minutes." Chad replied.
"It was practically finished, you were the only daddy that missed the game." Ella said.
"Well, you're the only one with a famous dad. What do you want me to do?"
Ella sighed tired.
"I want you to climb the hill with me and in preference before it gets dark."
Chad sighed and started followed his daughter up the hill. He had no choice. If he didn't climb the hill he would disappoint Ella, she would make him feel guilty and then Sonny wouldn't like to know that he wasn't 'bonding' with his precious daughter.
"Okay... Let's go then..." He nodded smiling.
She placed her small arms around his waist. Chad caught a glimpse of the charm bracelet she was wearing and the memory of the first day he saw his beloved daughter flashed up in his mind like he was yesterday. Sonny was holding the most beautiful little girl he had ever seen and he could call her his little girl. The first words he said her echoed in his mind 'Hi Ella, I'm your daddy'.
"Thank you so much daddy." Ella thanked.
The blond heartthrob took her small hand in his.
"Only with one condition." Chad added before proceeding "You've to slow down! I'm not seventeen anymore" he smirked.
Ella rolled her eye jokingly.
"Yes, daddy and you're not the best actor of our generation either," she teased "Now you've to share that position with mommy."
"I am and I will always be the best actor of our generation." He argued back "Sonny's the best actress..." He added shrugging.
Ella laughed and pulled her dad up the hill. When they finally arrived the top Chad and Ella took a seat in the grass and looked to the sunset slowly fading behind LA buildings.
"This is beautiful Ella." Chad commented.
"I know..." the little girl replied snuggling close to her dad making him smile. "I really enjoyed this bonding time." she added kissing his cheek.
"Me too Ella, me too."
Both of them looked back to the sunset and stood there until the moon replaced the sun just enjoying their time together. Because even thought she wouldn't admit it she would always be his little girl, daddy's little girl.
A/N: So do you like it? :)
