A/N: I'm sure stories based on this quote will pop everywhere, but let's face it, as soon as he said it you knew they were coming.
Alec watched Logan. Plain old Logan, a mere mortal dependent on exoskeleton or wheel chair, who was right now working on a pointless mission to stop some smugglers. Smugglers! Like you were ever going to wipe out smuggling. Logan was a guy who didn't comb his hair, shave, or dress especially well. A triple un-threat. He had huge potential to be quite the loser. Yet women loved him. It didn't make any sense.
What the hell did they see in him? Max and Asha both made doe eyes at him when they thought no one was looking. Two beautiful women wanted this loser. Why? That was his only question. Neither was making doe eyes at him and he was certainly more attractive than the razor challenged guy who was now typing furiously at his computer. Was the stubble part of what they wanted? Heck, he could throw away his razor if it would get him some more attention with the ladies around here.
Then, to top it off his general attitude was to be completely oblivious to being god's gift to women. Maybe the God's gift thing was an exaggeration, Logan did have two very beautiful women after him, but he certainly wasn't using his power well. He was waiting for Max, ignoring the fact one stray touch from her would put him 6 feet under. He had imposed a life of celibacy for no good reason. Even if he didn't want Asha, why would be a mystery, he probably could find someone to give him a roll in the hay. But no, he hung around at home, working.
What did they see in him!
Was it this pathetic quest to make the world a better place that made women want him? That had to be it. Manticore had given him model good looks and he was a perfect physical specimen, yet Asha hadn't even written down his number. Logan was blinding women to the very attractive, shallow man, who was only using them. Raising the standards, Alec did not approve. One day he would be expected to better society, be all concerned and noble, just to get laid! God he hoped that day never came.
