Thoughts of his Mind.
There's always is something that goes wrong.
Why the hell am I the way that I am? Vegema, son of Trunks and Sensei Briefs, thought to himself.
There're things that just never seem to work right all the time. I never wanted to be so emo. But yet again things never work out the way I want them too.
Vegema, 15-years-old, emo, drug addict, drinker, rape victim… by a guy, best life ever. He held the inch long needle over his arm, the brown oozy liquid inside. Of course he wouldn't miss his vein, he never did anymore. Five months is long enough to get used to it.
Vegema bit down hard on the end of his studded belt that was synched around his tone bicep, and trust the needle in his arm, pushing the end and releasing the drug inside his body.
Bliss, Sweet unnatural Bliss.
I don't think I'll ever get used to this feeling, pure relaxation, numbness, the black endless, fantastic void.
He sat in his high for such a long time, so it seemed, in reality it had only been ten minutes. Then sounded that hateful knock on his locked door.
Why the fuck can't they leave me alone for one damned minute!!!
"Yeah, want do ya want?" Damn my voice is too far gone. It's all raspy.
"Just making sure you're ok."
EVERY FUCKIN TIME!!!!! It never fails to amaze me how annoying my family is… yet again…
"Yeah I'm fine dad."
"'Kay, mom was wondering."
Mom…
To Vegema, it always seems like she's never there, not like he could do anything about it. Sensei Rai Briefs, his mother, recently got back from a year long voyage to other worlds to help her friends. In reality, she was gone a lot longer in the places that she went than the planet she lived on. To her, she had been gone 5 years.
She's always busy…
Vegema's heart beat faster than the even the heroin was pumping it. Why is it wearing off already! He looked at the clock; it's only been fifteen minuets it's not wearing off, just getting stronger…? Oh well. All the better.
"Vegema?"
That sweet heavenly voice entered his thoughts.
Mom…
"Honey, what's goin' on in there, your door's locked." The handle jiggled.
"Nothin's goin on. Just like a locked door I guess." He choked out. He hadn't talked to her yet. She only got back this after noon around 1:30. He looked at the clock.
1:55
"That's different of you. You must have grown up a lot in the last year. Come on out and see me, I missed you terribly."
Shit… What the hell am I supposed to do? I can't go out there yet. My eyes are still dilated, plus I'm still high
"I got homework that needs to be done; I'll see ya after I get it done, 'kay?"
"Alright, I'll be waiting, love you."
Liar. You wouldn't have been gone so long if you really did.
Slowly Vegema came down from his high, around 4:00.
He unlocked and opened his door.
Time to face the music, he thought as he stepped out into the blinding light and into the embrace that was his mother's arms.
"I missed you Vegema, my son. Love you."
Oh mom…
