Harry really had no idea how many times Dean, Seamus and Neville had saved him from the insane girls that had broken into their room during sixth year.
Between being Quidditch Captain, homework and his meetings with Dumbledore, Harry almost never made it back to their dormitory first at the end of the day so, thanks to his roommates, he never discovered the various 'romantic' scenes constructed by the crazier of the girls, desperate to get to 'the Chosen one'.
Romilda Vane alone had invaded their room at least ten times before Christmas.
The boys all knew how much Harry would hate the attention, especially since it centred around his fame so they decided it would be best to hide it.
The Gryffindor boys got so good at de-crazying and clearing their room before Harry came in that Dean had called them a Pitt Crew for the insane.
Not that Seamus or Neville really knew what he was talking about.
Neither Harry nor Ron, who was usually busy with prefect duties, ever found out about any of the girls, though Ron did get a shock when he looked under Neville's bed one day in search of chocolate and instead found a dozen pink, lacy pillows and a bodice with a lightning bolt on it.
Funnily enough no questions were asked.
