"What about Tony?"
"We're having a girl Rach."
"Emmy?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because we are not naming our kid after an award."
Rachel pouted. "Elphaba?"
"Absolutely not."
"Glinda?"
"No."
"Roxie?"
"We are not naming our kid after a cheating murderer bimbo!"
"I'm starting to regret educating you in musicals," Rachel mumbled, "How about Fanny?"
"Seriously Rach? Seriously?"
This had been going on for almost a week, ever since finding out about the baby's gender and Quinn had had to constantly take deep calming breaths and remind herself that Rachel was pregnant.
"Well I don't see you throwing in any suggestions," the diva accused, crossing her arms over her chest.
Quinn sighed and gently untangled her wife's arms, interlacing their fingers and resting their hands on the small bump of her stomach. Pressing a tender kiss to her shoulder, she offered, "How about Maddie?"
"Maddie," Rachel repeated, getting a feel for the name, "Maddie Berry Fabray… I like it," she then stated with a smile.
"Good. Me too."
They remained in the embrace in comfortable silence and Quinn was just about to drift off when Rachel spoke again.
"Can her middle name be Éponine?"
