Hey! I hope you enjoy this, my first Smithchie (I think that's how you spell it o.o). It's dedicated to Sophie (as well as everyone else, but she needs a special mention!) for being awesome. Enough said ;D. Hope you like it, girl! And … enjoy!

Knock!

Mitchie groaned, jolting out of her sleep. She must have fallen asleep while watching the television, which was still on. She blinked, letting her surroundings come back into focus.

Knock!

Mitchie felt very tempted to tell whoever was at the door to please come back later, but she knew that would be rude, so she forced herself up and dragged her feet to the door. She put of a fake smile before swinging the door open. Her smile turned real when she saw who it was. Shane. Although they weren't exactly dating, it didn't stop her from wishing they were.

"Shane!" She cried, throwing her arms around him in a hug. He immediately hugged her back, which made her grin more, if that was possible.
"Hey, Mitch!" He replied, sounded equally as happy.
Mitchie pulled away from the embrace reluctantly to let him in.
"How come you're here?" She asked. Not that she was complaining.
"Is it a crime to see your best friend?" Shane asked, reigning shock.
"Oh shut it, Shane! I didn't mean it like that!"
"I know, I know." Shane said with a laugh.
"So, how's Jason?"
"Being an idiot." Shane replied in the same beat, before wincing. He knew Mitchie liked Jason, and she hated it when he called people idiots.
"Sorry I mean-" He tried to mend his mistake. Too late.
"Shane! Stop being a jerk!" Mitchie cut it.
"Mitchie, come on. There are worse insults!" Shane said, before he could stop himself.

Mitchie's eyes narrowed.

"You are such a jerk sometimes!"
"And you overreact sometimes!"

"Argh, you are so annoying!"
"Not as much as you are, apparently!"

"Conceited jerk!"
"Stupid singer!"

"Stuck-up Rockstar!"
"Big headed idiot!"

"Hey! I called Jason an idiot and you bit my head off!"
"Because he's your brother and you have no reason to call him an idiot!"

"Oh come on, Mitch, have you SEEN his new sunglasses?"
"Shane! Stop being such a … a … ARGH!" Mitchie cried, throwing her arms in the air in annoyance.

"Wow, words fail you, huh?"
"No now they don't!"

"God, give me a break!"
"Stop only thinking of yourself!"

"Stop being so innocent!"
"Stop looking down on everyone else!"

"Stop being so … Mitchie!"
"Stop being so … Shane!" Mitchie mimicked.

"Stop copying me!"
"You are such an ANNOYING person!"
"You are such a FRUSTRATING one!"

"I love you."
"I love you too."

And apparently their argument was forgotten because one moment they were yelling and the next their lips met. Mitchie pulled away, a grin on her face. There was a moment's pause, before the girl broke it, laughter evident in her voice.

"You're still a jerk."
