She's Everything
"TURN IT OFF!"
Damn that Stefan Salvatore. I didn't want to compel him to obey me. I wanted him here of his own free will. I remember a time when I would have done the same—sold my soul to a devil to keep my family alive and well.
"What did you do?" I heard my lovely little doppelganger whisper in agony.
"I fixed him," I reply with a smirk.
But for whom? Not for her, that's for sure. And definitely not for him. For me? Yes—I want her to myself. Especially now that I know that she is the key to making more of my kind.
She's everything to me now.
Later on after arguing with Rebekah about God knows what and kicking Damon Salvatore's interfering ass he rushes as quick as he can to the room he had situated his girl into.
He so regrets that he can't take her with him right now. He needs to travel light to be able to get the hell out of dodge.
He gently—no harm can come to his Elena now—removes the blood she so unwillingly has given to him and pauses a second to make sure the elder Salvatore is not near. When he hears him only just now getting up in the parking lot, he smoothes Elena's hair back and kisses her forehead possessively.
"I have to leave you for a bit darling—but I'll be back for you. Then it'll be just you, me, and my hybrids. The world will tremble at our feet in fear, love, and respect as much as you will do the same to mine. Think of how glorious it will be, pet. No Salvatore brothers, no Katherine, not anyone in your life to care for you but me. It will be perfect—for me anyway."
I heard Damon groan and get to his feet. I hold my eyes upon my girl one last time before I whisper into her ear, "Dream of me and our future, love. I know I'll be doing the same of you."
I compel Stefan one last time—to protect her. Counterproductive to what I said before to him about Elena, but I couldn't have her dying from his carelessness. I need her and Stefan won't screw this up for me.
Elena had better enjoy what free time she has left—once I return and eliminate Mikeal and any other threat to her or myself, all she will ever have is me.
Oh, what a glorious future indeed.
