A Wish Your Hart Make

After walking the red carpet with all the cameras on us I realize I was more nervous about tonight then Robin or my Mother was. Unique had truly out done herself with our hair and makeup. Sugar individual clothes design in the same color from her new fall line was brilliant, along with the match accessories from Kitty line of Handbags and Shoes, and not much the jeweler from Bree Breathtaking Line. They had all come together to help them get ready for tonight along with many other McKinley Alumni.

The reality of why we were here hit me like a ton of bricks when I saw S on the stage performing with her cast "The Golden Age" in which she played Rosalind Russell and was nominated Best Featured Actress in Musical this was here second nomination and everyone knew it was her night to win. If tonight went as we hope for I would forever indebted to her and three Divas. We weren't worried about S category tonight she was a shoe in, want we were nervous about was the Best Featured Actress in Play category because my daughter Robin Sylvester was nominated.

How did my little Sue in up here thanks to Sandbags, Lady (Rachel), Porcelain (Kurt), and Young Burt Reynolds (Blaine) with a little help from my Mother. They all encourage her to act it didn't take her long to remember lines. When she was a toddler I first took note how she would act out conversation she overheard in dramatic play, so did her teacher and a summer volunteer name Rachel Barbara Berry. That was the began to the end of my peaceful non-musical days.

Then the day came when Q screenplay "Noise in the Dark" was given backing money to move to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre in a limited run. With my Robin starred as Echo when the original actress broke her right leg in two places two weeks before opening night. The play was directed by Shelby Corcoran, with sets by Kurt Hummel, costumes by Tina Cohen-Chang, lighting by Matt Rutherford and original music and sound design by Blaine Anderson.

I was gang up on by my Mother, S and the Divas to let my then 9 year old play the part of an 11 year old Savant. Being raise in a hotel by her sixteen year old sister and seventeen year old brother while staying off CPS radar. I finally cave in when B showed up on my doorstep and guilt treated me into letting Robin save Q play. Now I'm sitting here waiting to hear my little Sue name called if she wins she would be the youngest Tony Award winner in History.

"Mommy it's my category," Robin said taping my hand

"Do worry Birdie this is your night right Susie Q," Doris said cheerful she had developed this whole "thinking positive thoughts leads to a positive life" thing

"Right Mom" I said trying to stay clam

"And the award goes to Robin Sylvester for Noise in the Dark" Courtney B. Vance announce the whole room scream for my little Sue her wish had come true.
