A high voice rings through the room and through my skull. It hurts my teeth and my eyes water. I shift my weight and my bonds tighten. I hold back a sigh.
She moves like a jungle cat, her shoulder blades shifting as she walks, her fingers clenching and unclenching.
She snaps out an arm and a blast of green light hits its target; the blonde hair that floats down makes me hold back another sigh.
Whipping her twisted features around, she faces another figure. He is standing tall and seemingly indestructible. An eyebrow raises, a smile plays at his lips. She smiles sweetly. As she presses herself against him, his smile fades and hers grows. She backs away and I can see the blood on the knife she slipped under his ribs. He falls, blond hair covering his face, and I hide another sigh.
She turns to me, now. Her bottom lip trembles as her cold fingers caress my face. She whispers something as I see the light erupt from her wand, 'You should have been my son,' and the last thing I think as I see her green, distorted figure watching me fall is, 'No wonder she's crazy.'
