Nightmares are just bad dreams

Ginny looked around her, but there were dementors on every side. Between two of them, she could make out Harry and Lord Voldemort, fighting. Voldemort had now disarmed Harry and drew closer to him.

'Now Harry, we will see together me and your girlfriend how the light leaves your eyes for good. Sweet dreams Harry Potter,' Voldemort said.

Ginny forced herself to stay awake and to not let herself get drowned in her own killing thoughts from the dementors. However, before she could do anything or even think of doing something, it was too late.

'Avada Kedavra!' Voldemort shouted.

There was a flash of green light and Harry fell on the ground unmoving. Ginny realised he would never move again, but stay still forever more. Then she gave a cry of anger, sorrow, disbelief and fear. The dementors were drawing nearer to her and she could feel one of its cold clammy hands on her cheek.

'Noooo!' she yelled.

'Ginny! Ginny wake up!'

'No, no,' Ginny now lay sobbing next to Harry in her bed in the Burrow.

'Sh, it's alright Ginny, it was just a dream,' Harry said quietly, stroking her hair.

'I'm sorry Harry, but I keep having these nightmares every night. Every night I see you dying, every night I feel myself dying a little bit more on the inside,' Ginny said tears glistening in her eyes.

'Don't worry, I'll make sure your nightmares won't come true, I promise you that,' Harry said kissing Ginny on her head. 'I swear it won't happen, for your nightmares are only bad dreams.'
