Hi guys! Its my first story and I hope you like it c:
On an island not discovered by anyone, lived two people. There names? The one with auburn hair and silver sparkling eyes was named Artemis Hunt. The other one that had raven black hair and sea green eyes is named Percy Jackson.
"Artemis, I am guessing you are going to hunt like always? Not coming to swim I see…" Percy would mumble every day she left, a bit sad she never came swimming with him. But someone had to provide the food. Artemis was always a good hunter and also could tell time because of the moon and stars. She also took care of the forest you could say. Percy took care of the sea that surrounded the area, he also would patrol the beaches time to time. Together they made a good team on the island. They decided to name the island, but argued what to name it. Finally, they decided on XENNE. It was a pretty good name. They lived in peace and harmony with nothing bad happening. Until that one day…
~Back to that one day~
Percy's POV
I woke up seeing Artemis leave the cave like always, and I always would mumble "Artemis, ever coming to swim with me?" and then get up. I yawned loudly, rubbing my eyes. Xenne was pretty cool. We had a waterfall that was like a fridge. Wait what is a fridge… whatever. I walked out of the stone cave, with a waterfall beside me and put my hand through it, getting some quail meat. Not the best like deer or anything, but there pretty rare. And damn, I suck at starting fires, so we just leave one lit at all times in the cave. I hurried back inside and started cooking it, because that's my awesome job. Artemis gets to hunt while I have to cook. A bit of the opposite of what most people do, but whatever, I suck at that too. I always break a stick or some shit and the animals run away so…. Yeah.
-Time Skip-
"Perseus, I am back with a deer, I aspect you cooked something?" Artemis said, coming in the cave with a bloody deer on her back.
"Oh crap, yeah I did, and call me Percy!" Percy said, then showing her a big flat smooth stone with cut up quail on it.
"Okay then. Did you eat some already?" Artemis asked.
"Yes, since I have to do my job outside now," Percy said, putting the stone down and putting the deer on his back and dragging it to the sea. I felt the warm sand in between my toes. I loved that feeling. I placed the deer down and made the sea creep up on it, washing it inside and out. I then started to skin it. The skin came off a bit easy. It was done in no time. I washed it again, then started to cut it into pieces so it can fit in the fridge. I then used water to make it float in the air, it following behind me, and I started climbing up the cliff I usually sat on the edge of every day. I'd watch the sunset like a freak, but who cares, its pretty cool. I sat the deer pieces down and got on the edge of the cliff, and sat down. I let the sea go, letting it run wild like it should be. It turned dark, and I got up. I looked back and walked back to the cliff, knowing that Artemis will now be a bit more cheerful now the moon came out with the stars following. I was walking forward, watching the stars flicker, and then it happened. I tripped on a stone and fell down the cliff. I tried to summon the waves to catch me, but I fell off guard, and gravity was fast. And then BAM! I hit my head on a rock and lost conscious, and fell into the deep ocean, floating with the wild sea away from Xenne.
