Brown Eyes

From my perched
I watch with an arctic gaze
Looking around my domain
I consider my gift as well as my curse...

With the power of life and death in my hands
A lot of people fear me
And I though nobody would understand
The things I feel inside...

Then I look at your brown eyes
And I saw a heart kindred of mine
As I gaze into your eyes
I see the soul half of mine

I know in our work
The greater good must come first
And the things I feel
I have to suppress before it becomes a weakness we can't tolerate...

But it's already too late
Cause your already imbedded in my heart and soul
You're not my weakness
But my strength ...

I know you feel it too
As brown eyes met blue
Yours is filled with warmth and longing you tried hard to suppress
Replacing it with an air of indifference and a cold smile...

I know you've been hurt
And afraid to trust anyone
But always bare in mind as I gaze into you're brown eyes
I will always be at your side...

End...
