So I'm a HUGE fan of Miranda Lambert and the Pistol Annies, also a huge fan of OUAT (IT CAME BACK SUNDAY! BUT NO MAD SWAN WHO ARE ACTUALLY DATING IN REAL LIFE! *sobs because of no Mad Swan*) but it's up to you to decide whether or not this fic is Mad Swan or Gremma (I support Mad Swan my friends) as it won't say *evil grin*
Disclaimer: Me: I won't say it!
Miranda and Blake Shelton: SayIt!
Me:NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Them: Daciana Angelique!
Me: *sobs* Fine you cruel cruel but oh so talented people, I don't own Once Upon a Time, Beige by the Pistol Annies, or anything else you recognize. Gosh!
p.s. put rubber boa in your review if you read this, you WILL review right?
Mama planned it all
Said it's pretty in the fall
And the flowers would be
Roses and daisies
Snow had made sure everything was perfect, complete and utter perfection. "It's pretty in the fall" she said, "Roses and Daisies and leaves will make a beautiful backdrop." Emma was her firstborn so of course she put everything into the wedding, everything was carefully planned, down to the design of the napkins for the feast.
And she prayed nobody saw
The weight that I put on
The bride shouldn't be
four months and three weeks
It was four months before the wedding when Emma approached her mother with the dreaded words "I'm pregnant." Further probing revealed she was three weeks along, Emma had gone to see Doc for an upset stomach that turned out to be so much more. When she had left Snow dropped to her knee's and prayed. The day of the wedding came and again Snow dropped to her knee's and prayed.
Daddy's pride and joy
Is marrying some boy
And he looked afraid
The Preacher turned the page
And I was wearing Beige
Emma stood at the altar, she glanced out to her father standing in his place, he looked white as a sheet and terrified. Doc, the acting preacher for the ceremony, stood on a stool so he was taller and he turned the page, bringing Emma's attention back to the ceremony and the vows. She glanced down at her dress, it was beautiful, but it was Beige.
Nowhere Baptist Church
Wrinkles in his shirt
No one's having a ball
At the reception hall
Emma had insisted upon having the wedding in the gardens of the summer castle, she "Loved the seclusion," she had said, "it's in the middle of nowhere." Snow wanted it closer, but in the end it was Emma's wedding. Emma noticed tiny wrinkles in her grooms shirt, as though he had been messing with it in his nervousness.
And we didn't take no honeymoon
With what we got ourselves into
Just a quick 'I do' and then
Back home again
All the festivities had been cancelled, no ball, no feast, no honeymoon. Just the vows
Daddy's pride and joy
Is marrying some boy
Now everyone in this place
Knows I didn't wait
'Cause I was wearing Beige
She pretended not to hear the gasps and whisperings as the doors opened and she started walking down the aisle. "Beige?!" She heard, "She's wearing Beige?!"
I was wearing Beige
But she wouldn't trade the world for her baby boy
Review Please? *looks hopeful*
