The body lay still on the ground, blood draining from her face. The killer of such a beautiful being stood over her. Tears dripped from his eyes as he held his wand tightly in his grey hands. He dropped to his knees and let the wand fall and roll to his side. He took her into his arms and sang quietly to her. Pink blood stained the male's scarf while he covered the fatal wound going through her abdomen. "F-fef..." he stuttered, "you were my d-dream come true."
Kanaya was also clutching something that was close to her heart. Eridan had blasted the egg that was the key to continuing her race. Jade green tears streamed down her face as she stood up and walked dangerously slow towards the sea dwellers. "Eridan." she said, "Do you have ANY idea of what you destroyed?" She revved up her chain saw.
He whipped his head in Kanaya's direction and grabbed his wand. he stood up with Feferi in his arms. Eridan shot a perfect hole through the green-blooded troll. Kanaya fell to the ground.
Eridan looked back at the late princess. "Oh Feferi, believe me, I loved you..." He kissed her and gently laid the body down. Eridan then absconded to another room.

When Eridan thought he was finally safe, he fell down and held his head in his hands and sobbed his heart out. He missed Feferi. Oh, how he missed Feferi. He reminisced about when the two sea-dwellers were younger and they would play in the ocean together. And when Feferi would grow tired while sitting on the young prince's lap, he would sing his princess fast to sleep. She would snuggle into his chest and fall asleep. Now she was dead because of his own actions. Eridan did regret what happened, but knew he couldn't change it.
As he sat there wallowing in his own pity while a rainbow drinker absconded into the room with chainsaw in hand. Kanaya glared daggers into Eridan as he looked up at her. His face went from sad to mind blowingly angry. He stood up and pointed his wand at her. "I'll kill you again, Kan! I don't care! No one alive cares about me and what I do, anyways!"
"Feferi was the only one to like you, anyways. Nobody could stand you for five minutes." she said back to him.
Eridan ran towards her and in one swift movement, Kanaya severed the prince in half. The two halves fell to the ground. Eridan lie there, dying quickly. Purple tears slowly leaked out of his eyes as he mouthed, 'I loved you, my princess... Feferi... I'll never forget you."
He died.
