Disclaimer: Don't own Walking Dead
AN: Really short but after watching 'The Suicide King' again, I had to do this. Most of you should've saw this coming from me.

Betrayal
Carl couldn't hide the hurt in his eyes as he watched Beth kiss his dad on the cheek. The simple action sent him into shock, almost. He didn't know that Beth liked his dad like that. The way that Carl liked her. He was baffled.
And his dad, who just lost his wife, was actually looking at her back as she departed with Maggie. His father shouldn't be thinking about stuff like that, especially since Daryl and Oscar were now gone, one dead and the other taking off. Carl was hurt that Daryl had taken off with Merle after everything that they've been through. Blood was blood after all. Carl would've done the same thing if it was him and Judith.
He thought he and Beth had something going on. He really thought that besides their age difference, they could make it work. They were friends and knew a lot about the other. What was wrong with him? Was he too short? Was he ugly? What was it about Carl that didn't attract Beth romantically? He would fix it. He would do what ever it took.
That's when Carl realized he was a fool. He fooled himself into thinking that someone like Beth would go for someone like him. A puny scrawny murderer. That's what he was. And now there was Ben, the boy in Tyreese's group that was around Beth's age. Even if she didn't have something going on with his dad, there was always him. Carl would be her third and final choice, and that was only if his dad and Ben got killed. Carl knew Ben wouldn't make it, but his dad was like Superman in this world. No matter what he did, he always came back and did what needed to be done.
And what did Carl do? He killed his sister's mother and father. Uh-huh. Some guy he was.
Looking angrily at his dad one last time, which he failed to notice, he took off into the cellblock, only one goal left now in his mind.
Get rid of feelings for Beth and move on with his life.
Or what was left of it.
End of Betrayal
Sucks I know, but I needed to do this. Plus it makes great practice for when I get back into Fragment in a few days. I'm going away until Tuesday so I have no access to my files, which is why this is short.
I felt bad for Carl when Beth kissed his dad and they were looking at each other and that moment in the cellblock afterward with Judith. If Carl was there, I don't think he was, he would've probably snapped.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
