A/N: Nobu's POV, NobuxHachi, Rated M: sex, language, drug content. It's sort of a Xover between NANA and the book Tweak by Nic Sheff, but they didn't have the book as a category. But that's not too important, because if you've never read the book, you're really not missing anything since I'm changing the story from here. And now, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the show~

Prisoners of Addiction - Introduction:

Checking my email today, I have two messages that stand out. The first is from the entertainment editor at this really upstream music magazine. She says they want to run Black Stones' interview as their headliner for next month's issue. It has to be edited some, but she says she's a big fan of Nana's voice and thinks that we hall have lots of talent. She says they want to focus on our background story to inspire upcoming artists and she also asks if we could come to a photo shoot. I'm so excited, I immediately text all the Blast members.

The other email I got was from Hachi.

It's short and simple. "I broke up with Takumi last night. I couldn't take it anymore. My number is…"

I swallow hard reading this. Hachi has written to me. Nana-chan. I wonder whether she's sober. I heard she has a bad history with relapsing from Nana. Maybe she's getting high right now. I'm not sure what to do.

In my stomach, in the knots tying there, I know I should call Nana, ask for her opinion. But at the same time, I know what she's going to say. I know she'll tell me to stay as far away from her as possible – not to get involved. I know she's right. Hachi is maybe the most damaged person I've ever met. After the car accident with Satsuki-chan, all I know is that she resorted to drugs. But there has to be more to it, I just know it. Although, I'm still a little scared about how I should answer her email. Just the fact that she cheated on me with Takumi makes me have a hard time trusting her. But I want her. It is a desire stronger than anything else and I'm not sure what to attribute that to. I know I'm not in the healthiest state as it is, I know I'm sick, and I know visiting Hachi is a big risk to my sobriety. Maybe that knowledge is meaningless, though. Because I call. I just say, y' know, f*ck the consequences. And I call her.

Introduction Ended.

A/N: Again, this was a cross over from the book Tweak by Nic Sheff. I just saw the connection between Nobu and the main character... So, reviews, anyone? How'd I do? Also if you have some suggestions on how the plot should turn out, I'm open for opinions!!
