She wasn't sixteen anymore, her kids were gone, through Hogwarts and in the world.
The big bad world, that wasn't so big and bad anymore. Lily had come home the other night, her youngest, nineteen,
Merlin she was old.
They had sat at the counter and eaten the biscuits that her mother had made (if she was old than her mother was ancient) and talked about Lily's friend Darren.
Lily had the butterflies. She was in love. Head over heels in fact.
Lily asked if that feeling ever faded, if it was ever lost with age.
Ginny thought of Lavender Brown, who she had run into the other day, who would say that, yes,
they most certainly did.
That Butterflies were for the young.
And Ginny thought of Harry, picking her up and twirling her around as he got home.
never once complaining of his back.
She answered,
"No, Never."
