Neku knew it was wrong, dancing with Joshua. But sometimes this boys charm was inescapable. In the back of his mind, he knew that he should be yelling – no screaming at him for what he had done.
Joshua closed his eyes and giggled softly as if he knew what Neku was thinking.
"It's a beautiful night. Don't you agree?"
Neku nodded and stared quietly at the buildings above him as Joshua twirled him around. Shibuya was quiet tonight, which was a surprise, not a person to be found in the streets around them. Just bright lights and the sound the night. Just the two of them in the middle of the Scramble Crossing. Dancing.
They danced for what felt like hours, comfort finally settling in on Neku just as the dancing stopped.
"I have to go now Neku. Thanks for the dance." Joshua gave his signature smirk and turned to walk away.
As Neku watched his retreating figure he realized the only reason he danced was because he might never see Joshua again. Somehow, he thought, that wasn't true. Joshua was always there; even if you couldn't see him. Neku sighed and started to head for home as he heard a giggle and a soft "Goodnight Neku." He didn't stop to turn around; he knew no one would be there.

Thanks for reading this! This is only the second one-shot/drabble type thing I've ever written so I'd really appreciate some constructive criticism! Nice comments don't hurt either. ;)
