Summary: Suzaku, despite what others think of him, has never been one to stop and admire the flowers.

Suzaku, despite what others think of him, has never been one to stop and admire the flowers.

He walks too fast, Lelouch often complains, and Suzaku always responds by telling him that he walks too slow. It's true though, Suzaku says, Lelouch is widely known to have the physical inclination of an injured marshmallow.

Lelouch hits him, and though it doesn't hurt, Suzaku pretends it does. And as a reward, he receives a smile, but it's not one of those fake smiles that Lelouch throws out like candy, wears like a mask.

It's real, so wonderfully real, and Suzaku is left completely floored because it's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen in his life.

He says so, and Lelouch just laughs at him, shaking his head.

"But you are beautiful," Suzaku insists and kisses him hard on the mouth.

And as they break apart, eyes wide and breaths short, Suzaku wonders why the he needed to look at the stupid flowers anyway.

He already had Lelouch.
