( here's something to fill the fan fiction gap, enjoy)

As the sun started to set a young child walked into the kitchen which was in usual chaos but this was almost a full on frenzy. All the chefs were screaming and the young chef's assistant at the age of 10 just looked in concern and fear as he knew that something big was going to happen, maybe a feast or the castle was under siege. These thoughts actually scared him but out of the curses some chefs where spewing some said something about the return of the kingdom's greatest swordsman and the hero of Hyrule, this interested the boy very much, he looked at the near by window and thought about the yelling that the head chef would give him, he didn't care. The young chef's assistant snuck out through the window, it wasn't that far down so he thought it would be okay as he climbed through the window. He fell with a thump. He got up and dusted off his clothes with a firm, short swipe then headed towards the market place to see more frenzied crowds cheering at the two men on horseback. The boy's eyes widened as he saw the man in a green tunic and a strange green hat, he remembered all the tales that the older children would say about the men.

"Young one, where are you!?" A voice screamed.

"Oh dear goddesses." The assistant repeated to himself while running back to the castle.

The child looked at the window he just exited out of not too long ago to see a male chef with a stern look fixated on the crowd.

"Well I guess there's no choice now." He said with a sigh as he walked in front of the window.

"Young one, where in the world have you been?" the chef asked.

"I was just seeing the heroes that returned, Rohk..." The young child said meekly.

"Never-mind those simple minded sword swingers..." The older man started. "you need to stop being as dumb as a lon lon and help us prepare the food!"

-Hyrule castle kitchen-

As the child walked in he was met with the glaring eyes of the head chef, Rohk.

"Now that everyone's working we can get the feast prepared..." He said in a cold voice as he glared at the child.

Rohk then exited the room to see the scolding glare of a female chef.

"Liliad, what are you doing here?" Rohk asked.

"Why are you so hard on the kid?" she asked annoyed.

"He's always thinking about adventures and riches, like he knows anything about sword fighting." The head chef replied.

"So? let him dream." Liliad protested

Rohk narrowed his eyes and scoffed as he walked down to the dining room. Liliad sighed as she walked into the kitchen.
