Just a short story I thought of ^0^ hope you like and it will be no more than five chappies ^_^
Disclaimer: Fullmetal Alchemist in general belongs to Hiromu Arakawa. I own the idea of this story, Stormwhilde, Stance, Jaestone, Dilas and the two guys that have no names XD.
Zolf J Kimbley growled and stalked into the tent grabbing the cot he had in there and throwing it across the large tent, "Dammit! Dammit! GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" he yelled ignoring the tired, furious glares he was getting, he wanted to go home, he wanted to go back to Amestris, he wanted to be back at the Devil's Nest, with Greed's arms wrapped around him so delicately. "What the hell's gotten into ya Kimbley?" Frank Stormwhilde asked, his blue eyes narrowed.
"Shut up Archer!" Kimbley snapped before he let out another furious yell, "WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO LOOK LIKE THE GODDAMNED PRICK IN BLUE YOU BASTARD!" he yelled stalking up to Stormwhilde and slugging him squarely in the jaw, "Enough Kimbley!" Law Stance said grabbing the ex-alchemist's shoulder, Zolf spun around quickly and pushed past Stance, running out of the tent as he began crying.
This wasn't his home, these weren't the people he knew, they looked like them and acted the same as well but they weren't them. It seemed like there was someone for everyone in Amestris, that is except for Greed, no matter how long Kimbley spent looking for the man that was Greed's look alike he never found him. Zolf finally stopped running when he could barely breathe, still crying he dropped to the ground and pulled his knees to his chest, burying his face into his legs.
He had been crying for a while before he fell sleep still in that same position, "Kimbley? Wake up." A soft voice said in his ear and the ex-alchemist woke instantly, looking up into concerned brown eyes. Riza Jaestone offered him a small smile and Kimbley felt tears begin to slide down his cheeks again.
"Come here." Jaestone said as she pulled Zolf closer, letting him cry, "I want to go home. Not that damn apartment I have, I want to go back to Amestris." he whimpered before hearing some soldiers yell, "Get back here! Where's the file you took?!" Stormwhilde yelled as he chased after a tall, dark, well muscled figure.
"Nope! Didn't take no file, though I did burn one." a familiar deep voice laughed and Kimbley scrambled to his feet, "GREED!" he yelled chasing after the figure, which had froze at the ex-alchemist's yell, "Kimbley!" Greed exclaimed, obvious joy and relief in his voice as he ran towards Zolf, the second they were just barely not able to touch, two people caught Greed by the arms and pulled him back.
"No!" Kimbley snapped before yelping as Stormwhilde wrapped his arm around the smaller man's waist, "No! No dammit! Greed! GREED!" Kimbley screamed as he watched the two men force Greed onto his knees before another came up with a gun, "What happened to the file you were looking at?" Roy Dilas asked as he cocked the hammer of the gun, Greed's eyes widened before he looked over at Kimbley.
"Oh, you know Kimbley, do you?" Dilas asked as he walked closer to Zolf, the ex-alchemist's golden eyes widening as the gun was pointed at him, Greed tried to get up. "Leave him alone dammit!" the Homunculus snapped as he looked around desperately, fear was rapidly growing in Kimbley's chest as Dilas closed the remaining gap between them. He forcefully jerked Kimbley's chin up and Zolf started to struggle, trying to pull away before freezing in utter shock as his lips were smashed against Dilas's.
Kimbley growled and tired to pull back when Dilas shoved his tongue past the ex-alchemist's lips and practically down his throat, Greed could only watch in shocked outrage. When the other soldier pulled back, Zolf could only cough and struggle to regain his breath, "What the fuck was that?" he snarled, glaring at Dilas with burning golden eyes and Greed chuckled gruffly.
"Whoo! Damn you're lucky he doesn't have alchemy here, you'd be a bomb before you'd know it." the Homunculus said with a cocky grin, lifting his chin proudly, "I should know. It took me a full week to regenerate after I did that, though I didn't shove my tongue down his throat." while Dilas was distracted with Greed talking the ex-alchemist reached out and ripped the gun from the soldier's grasp, instantly it was pointed at Stormwhilde, "Mind letting me go?" Zolf asked in faux innocence, Stormwhilde blinked but did as the bomber asked and let him go, casually Kimbley walked over to the men holding Greed, his burning eyes telling them his obvious order and they let go of the Homunculus.
Greed stood up and wiped the dirt off his leather pants, Kimbley smiled a little and allowed the Homunculus wrap his arms around him, holding the ex-alchemist close. "Hate to be leavin' so soon but Zolf and I have some business to take care of back in our world." the sin said with a slight smirk and the bomber looked up at his lover, "Our world?" he echoed and Greed's eyes glanced down at Kimbley, he smirked and easily captured the ex-alchemist's lips with his own, Zolf closed his eyes and pressed up into the kiss realizing just how much he had missed the feel of the sin's rough lips against his.
When Greed pulled back, Kimbley finally let his eyes drift open and he was shocked. They weren't in the middle of a military camp, they were in the Devil's Nest, Zolf looked around in awe as though it was his first time seeing the gray cracked walls and rickety floorboards. "We're home." he sighed a sane smile spreading across his lips as he felt the Homunculus' arms wrap around his waist, "I said that we had business here and I never say anything I don't mean." Greed's deep voice rumbled in his chest and the ex-alchemist closed his eyes, determined to cherish each moment he spent here, he even went so far as to decide to try and repair his friendship with Roy.
"I'm sorry that I didn't try and save you from dying... I had no idea..." Zolf whispered before jumping as running footsteps came from the stairs leading to the private bar, he opened his eyes and blinked in shock as Marta ran up the stairs. "It's you two!" she exclaimed in her obvious shock upon seeing the two men, she looked exactly the same but her hair was longer and pulled back into a ponytail. Upon having a certain thought Kimbley looked down at his palms and discovered with joy that his alchemy tattoos were once again on his palms.
He pouted obviously when Greed's unnaturally warm body pulled away, "Yeah it's us, how's things been going since I left?" the Homunculus asked and Kimbley had another thought, well two to be exact, "How long were you looking for me? And how did we get back here?" he demanded and the snake chimera sighed a little, "He's been gone about a year now looking for you. We'd actually lost most hope that he would make it back."
Obviously both Greed and Kimbley were shocked at that, "I only spent a week there!" he objected and Marta looked at the sin, "There maybe but here you were gone a year." 'So here it takes a year for a week to pass there? Or something like that?' Zolf wondered before flinching guiltily upon remembering how he and Marta had parted the last time they saw each other.
"I'm sorry!" he burst out before blushing incredibly as both the chimera and Homunculus looked at him oddly. That was going to be hard to explain.
