I got the idea of this from a few anime's, where it will always show a girl confessing to a guy and asking him,"Please go out with me!" behind the school.
Marinettes head bowed down, as she avoided looking into his eyes, in fear of him answering her by pity,"Please go out with me!"
Adrien stared at Marinette through wide eyes, not truly believing what she had just said. The 2 hadn't been all that close before, first meeting when he had a project with Chloe, while her and Marinette just so happened to be having a sleepover. From what he had garnered, she was quite shy and reserved, which often made him question her and Chloe's close friendship.
They were in the same class, her sitting right behind him. They hadn't ever really spoken before, but he had to admit that he had always found himself looking her way.
She was class president, and Chloe was co-president. Chloe had decided to let the bluenette be on top for that year, as the roles had always been the opposite previously. Marinette was friendly to everyone, and treated everyone fairly. However, he had come to notice that she seemed to be quite shy around him, and rarely spoke a word his way.
Now it made sense.
She had caught him after class, and had shyly asked him to meet her after school. He had briefly caught Chloe pushing the bluenette towards him, urging her to tell him something. Now, he could fairly remember Chloe always telling him of how great Marinette was, and how the 2 should hang out.
Marinette had pulled him behind the school, saying that she wanted to speak with him in private, seeing as the other areas were all filled to the brim with students leaving for home, or going to their after school activities. He himself was just about to head off to his fencing lesson, when she had stuttered out his name.
He had always found her to be remarkably cute, and when she had once in a while stuttered her words to him, he couldn't help but internally sigh at how adorable she could become. While others might be disheartened at her being nervous and shy only around them, Adrien couldn't help but be happy that he was the only one able to see this cute side of his bluenette classmate
Adrien didn't ever have a crush on somebody, but if a god told him that he truly did have a crush, Marinette would be Adrien's first assumption. He got along with Chloe okay, but the 2 looked to each other as siblings would. He was close friends with Kim and Max, and often got along with Ivan and Nathanael, but he rarely ever spoke to the females in his class.
Now, Marinette stood before him, her eyes closed tightly, obviously in fear of rejection. Adrien felt a small smile tug at his lips, as he gave her his answer.
"Yes."
