So I know the last thing I need is another story but Elia is like one of my favorite characters and I always have a bunch of ideas for her. The surprising thing about this story is we are taking a look at a younger Cersei who still has choices to make before she turns into a horrible albeit cunning bitter woman, and I thought it would be interesting to see how Oberyn Martell the biggest player in the seven kingdoms would go into a marriage after seeing how Rhaegar's wondering eye has hurt Elia. There is some information about some of the changes to the world and how Rhaegar and Elia lived but there will be more information coming. Let me know what you think!

I prince Oberyn Martell went to the capital as quick as I could and was surprised just how relieved I was to see the three headed dragon banners of my good-brother wave in the wind. Although I was not truly sated until I saw her, my beloved sister. She no longer wore her red circlet, but a crown filled with rubies. I happily bent down the knee for her, but only a second before she ushered for me to stand and I couldn't contain myself from hugging her, she calmly returned my hug.

"We heard rumors about you and the children." I whispered holding back tears, my hands couldn't stop from shaking the rumors were terrifying, horrendous things that no Dornish man could ever forgive.

"Only rumors." She comforted. "Come, you can see the children they have grown."

We walked through the keep and I was happy to once again be graced with her company, it surprised me how Rhaegar could not see the wonder that was his wife both kind and clever and refreshingly good unlike most people in his ugly city. We chatted briefly before I brought up this whole mess.

"So, you must tell me the whole story, after your gallant beautiful husband forsaked you." I said still bitter about the Harrenhall tourney about Rhaegar and his gall. She only hushed me softly.

"We reconciled our differences and agreed his father could no longer remain king." She said softly.

"What differences? He ran away with that little Stark girl away from you his true wife and your children you bore him!" I said angry for her, but she only eloquently raised her hand to silently me. "Please stop." She begged "I cannot bare to hear such things." She told me, and I noticed how pale she was, how painful it must still be.

"Let's sit." I told her she nodded taking my arm and I walked her to the first bench as we entered the garden. I did not want to upset her, but my heart was rattling around in my chest. "Please Elia, you must explain this to me, I've been going insane guessing."

"He wanted an Annulment, I had to do what I could to save my marriage and my children's futures Oberyn, so I wrote him and just in time he agreed to come home to me and end this silly war before we were all killed." She told me.

"You've always been brave Elia." I told her softly maybe not the clearest headed when it came to her white-haired buffoon, but always brave. "And Robert Baratheon just walked away?" I asked and the way she looked at me like she wanted me to forgive her let me know I would not like the next part.

"Well…. on my husband's behalf I treated with Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark." She said not able to look me in the eyes.

I leaped up. "You what?!" I asked astounded thinking of my delicate sister riding up to Robert Baratheon on his war horse. "You could have been killed."

"Only a monster would kill an unarmed woman, a young mother no less." She told me, she was so wise beyond her years it made me forget sometimes she was only 26 years old and I was only a year younger. I paced around her for a bit until I calmed or at least tried to.

"What do you think Robert Baratheon is?" I hissed sitting back down next to her.

"A monster or he would be if he killed me when we treated, and his supporters would flood to Rhaegar's side if they fear the gods." She told me, and I was speechless.

It was only after a long pause I mustered the nerve to say. "Is there anything you wouldn't do for him?"

"No, there is nothing I wouldn't do for my family." She told me. Her hand grasped mine and I squeezed it lightly and she went on.

"I told them the full story with proof of one of Lyanna's letters to Rhaegar from Dragonstone. That she ran away with him. They were mad, but they were able to reason knowing she wasn't kidnapped, Lyanna was to be returned to them and we could work together against Aerys. Well at least they would not work against us."

"And that's why you asked for the 15'000 Dornish men to come awaiting uncle Luwin's instructions."

"Yes. With uncle Luwin and the Dornish men Rhaegar took the capital and found his father already slain by Jamie Lannister. "She told me. "And, Rhaegar came home and he apologized, and he says he loves me." She said softly looking at the horizon.

"And you just took him back…..that easily?"

"I had to, he's my husband." She said with a shrug. She got up and offered me her hand. "You will have to learn the give and take of marriage." She said softly looking at me with a forced smile.

I got up taking her arm as we continued to walk. "Rhaegar is all take. What has he given you."

She had to think before saying "My children."

"You've given him two children, even though it almost cost you your life." I reminded.

"I will be giving him one more." She said rubbing her still small stomach. My mouth opened in shock, but nothing could come out, I didn't even know how to ask her how she could ever let this happen. How she could endanger her life like this and then she just said. "I told him if he came back I would give him his third child he needs, I know it may kill me, but I'd rather die then have him annul our marriage and delegitimize my children." She said with a simple shrug, and my blood boiled.

"I hate him, all he ever does is depend on you and take you for granted!" I hissed.

She didn't try to defend him again she just moved past it, she was better at putting emotions aside then I was. "Rhaegar is rightly angry at Tywin for not taking his side but waiting until the end, so he refused to let Jamie out of the kingsguard."

"That all?" I asked which I would soon regret.

"No, he also is going to marry his daughter to someone who is still Nobel enough Tywin cannot turn against us but who is not going to inherit."

I stopped walking cursing silently before Rhaenys came running into my arms knocking the wind out of me for the second time in two minutes.

Rhaegar Targaryen ran away with some norther girl, he humiliated my sister.

Rhaegar Targaryen put her life endanger again and again.

Rhaegar Targaryen would have me wed a girl to bring her down a peg.

If my sister died with her next child, so would Rhaegar Targaryen.
