The bell rang as someone walked into starbucks. I looked up to see this person , as so did everyone else. She stood there soaked. Her hair was stuck to her face, and her clothes were stuck to her body. She didn't notice that everyone was staring at here until she looked up. She smiled and turned the slightest color of pink. Everyone went back to what they were doing, except me. I couldn't take my eyes off her. As she waited for her drink she searched for a place to sit. Seeing as it was pouring rain, it was jammed packed. There was only one seat left. It was the one right across from me. She spotted the seat and I immediately turned away.

"umm, excuse me"
I looked up at her. Wow. She was pretty.
"can I sit here?" she asked shyly with a small smile on her face.
"Sure, I guess" looking back down at the papers in front of me
"Thanks"

Silence

"My name is Jessy" She said breaking the silence.
"hmm" I said still focused on my papers.
"My name is Jessy" she repeated
"Oh..um..my name is..ke...Paul. My name is Paul" I said looking up at her finally.
"Nice to meet you Paul" she said, flashing an amazing smile.
"Likewise Jessy" I replied with a small smile.
"Thanks again for letting me sit with you, even though you don't know me" she said
laughing a little.
"No Problem" I said smiling.
With that I put my focus back on my papers and not on the girl sitting across
from me.

It got quiet again. It was kind of awkward, but I guess it was because I could feel
her staring at me. I looked up from the papers, once again. She tilted her head
and she looked at me like I had something on my face. I picked up my hand
and check to see if I did, you know, just in case. Well, I didn't, but she was still
staring.

"You know Paul, you look very familiar"
"Really?" I said calmly but I was afraid she might recognize me.
"Yeah" "I feel like I've seen you before"
"Oh,...yeah...I get that a lot"
"Really?" "And you don't think its kind of strange."
"um...not really. I guess I just have one of those faces." I said with a smile
"oh okay"

We sat in silence, once again. I tried to focus on my papers but I couldn't. I was
wondering what her reaction would be if she did recognize or if she knew who
I was. I looked at her, I mean really looked at her. Her hair was split to the
right. She had brown eyes that stood out against her green eye shadow. Her
cheeks were nice and rosey. She was beautiful. But a beautiful girl was the last
thing I needed in my life right now. I turned my head to the window, just as
she turned to face me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her glace at her watch
and sigh.

"I guess its time for me to leave" she said grabbing her cup and standing to leave.
I turned to face her and smiled

"It was nice to meet you Paul. and thanks again for the seat" She said smiling.
"It was nice to meet you too Jessy and your welcome"

She took two steps back and stopped.

"um...maybe I'll see your later or...tomorrow?" she asked with a hopeful look
on her face.
"hmm..yeah maybe" I told her.
A big smile came across her face.
"Okay. Bye" she said turning and walking right out of Starbucks.
I sat there staring where she once sat, thinking of whether or not to show up
tomorrow.
