I usually don't do poetry, but I wrote this and thought some of you guys would like it! Please review!

Disclaimer: As much as I wish I did, I do not own any of Suzanne Collins' amazing work.

The Capitol's End

The flickering fire,

That burns and that bends.

The symbol that conspires

The Capitol's end.

The melody of four notes,

Rue's endmost tune,

Helped the Rebellion,

The Capitol's ruin.

The feelings of sorrow,

And romance as well,

All mixed up and jumbled,

Till the Capitol fell.

The arrows and bows,

The villain and hero,

The novel goes on,

'Till the Capitol's power is zero.

The smiles and kisses,

What's real and what's fake.

All of their wishes,

Are not the Capitol's to take.

The blazing flames and the fire,

That's pain will never mend,

Will signify to all,

The Capitol's end.
