The Scorpion and the Flower:
Disclaimer: If I were J.K.R would I be writing a fanfiction?
Rose Weasley sat behind her cousin in Transfiguration. It was the start of the new term and she was excited. She looked down at her new parchment that was neatly placed in front of her. To the side of the parchment was her quill and ink. She glanced up and saw Albus Potter and Ivor Dursley (1) sleeping. She frowned before kicking her cousin in the back of his knee. "Ouch!" Albus said as he woke up. He then turned around to see Rose frowning. "What was that for?"
Before Rose could answer a third year Slytherin walked up to them. The three of them frowned as the blonde haired boy stopped right in front of them. Albus narrowed his eyes. From the first time he and Scorpius met they didn't exactly hit it off. "What do you want?" Ivor asked.
Scorpius glared at Ivor. "None of your business mudblood." He spat at Ivor before turning to Rose. "Here."
Scorpius handed her a letter. Rose took it from him and looked at the envelope. When she looked up to ask him what it was he was gone. Curiously she opened the envelope and took out the letter that was inside. She looked up to see if the teacher had walked into class yet. When she saw no sign of the teacher she read the letter.
Meet me in the library after dinner.
Rose looked up and over at Scorpius who was smirking at her. She frowned at first, thinking it was a joke. Though when he winked at her she decided to go, just to see what he wanted. When the teacher walked into the room she put the letter in her bag and picked up her quill to take notes. Though in the back of her head for the rest of the day was what could Scorpius want to meet her in the library for.
…
After dinner Rose walked to the library with Albus and Ivor. She had told them that there was no need for them to come with her but they insisted. When they entered the library Rose turned to the two boys behind her. "Can you two go somewhere else in the library?" She asked them.
"Why?" Albus asked Rose.
Rose sighed as she ran her hand through her hair. "Because, he wanted me to meet him. Not us, me."
Ivor sighed. "Alright, come on Al. We can get our homework done." Ivor told Albus as they walked over to a table.
Rose then found herself sanding alone in Magic History section. She looked along the books, wondering if Scorpius was actually going to come. After about five minutes walking up and down the isle she started to doubt it. "Well, well. It looks like the little flower showed up after all." Came Scorpius' voice from behind her.
Rose whipped around to face him. She frowned when she saw him smirking at her. "You have no reason to think I wouldn't showed up. I just got done with dinner." She shot at him. He didn't think she would show up. She had been waiting for HIM to show.
"Calm down, little flower." Scorpius told her as her gently caressed her check. "I was merely teasing you."
Rose took a few steps back and glared at him. "What do you want? Why did you want to meet me here?"
Scorpius smirked as he stepped closer to her. "I only wanted to do this." He whispered to her as he lifted her chin up. He then leaned in a brushed his lips against hers.
When he pulled away Rose was blushing. She had no idea why he just kissed her. She looked up at him and saw him smirking at her. "Well little flower, I'll see you tomorrow." Scorpius told her as he walked away.
As soon as he left Rose lifted two fingers up to her lips. He had kissed her. Why though? Is possible he liked her? Ha, she laughed at the though, the scorpion like her. Though as she thought about it she began to blush. Maybe it wasn't impossible. After all, she liked him.
1: Ivor Dursley is my original character. His makes his first appearance in my other fanfiction: The Train Ride.
